Hello, and welcome to the laboratory, where you were spliced into existence, and we're developed and birthed in machinery, with an inner climate simulating human wombs. You will live your life in a 20x20x10 cell- er, I mean room, being fed nutrient-rich mush for every meal! Free education and training will be provided by private teachers meant to skew your beliefs and ideals to the agency's will, because even geneticists can't alter your pesky, pesky morals and values! No, but in all seriousness, this is an RP about genetically created, modified and engineered specimens, crafted for one purpose, to be supersoldiers, tools of a corrupt government. The RP will go like this…
Act I: Prologue, escaping the lab.
Act II: On the run, hiding from the agency.
Act III: The war against the agency.
Act: IIII: The outcome, whether good or bad.

Rules…
-Rated MA, due to gore, romance and of course the political, economic, social, moral, and philosophical themes posed throughout the RP.
-No IRL hate, be cool, no spite.
-No controlling others' characters.
-This is a moderately sci-fi RP with heavy dystopian themes, no magic, all powers your characters have must be explained by science or be logically possible. I'm also a huge fan of explaining the science behind something, so explaining the reasons for any powers your characters have with accurate science is encouraged.
-Original characters only.
-For goodness sake be reasonable.

so basically in my storyline(s) there's a parasite that makes its way into the body and targets the DNA and mind. once it does so it causes mutations that will either kill or strengthen the host. I was wondering if that would be an acceptable way to have my character get their powers

(I guess that works, we'll just say that it was as a result of the laboratory technicians and nerdasses testing the potential of parasites to mutate humans with various specimen, but yours was the only survivor so they shut it down.)

(aight cool. gonna test a newer character on this one so here we go)

Gender: Genderfluid, usually goes by she/them
Sexuality: Omnisexual (into basically everyone)

Appearance: Pale skin with faint freckles on her cheeks and nose, average height, more attractive and feminine build, right eye is a bright blueish-violet and the left is black (she's blind in that eye), thin but not in an unattractive way, messy and spiky blueish-violet hair that's cut much shorter on the left and curls to about neck length on the right, white half mask on the lefthand side of her face with a large horn curling up around her ear and blue tear-like markings, unnaturally sharp teeth and fangs, slightly long claws (not sure if I need to put an outfit here too or not)
Personality: Manipulative, has pretty much no filter, doesn't like being told no and will manipulate and deceive until she gets what she wants, probably a sociopath (a side effect of what she was mutated with)
Abilities: Shapeshifting and illusions. She gained these powers when she was used as a test subject for a small batch of children being mutated with a parasite known as Phantom Jade. The jade, when liquefied from its crystal form, was injected into each subject's neck. The parasite then targeted the brain and DNA, but unfortunately Pandora was the only survivor. The program was shut down after those that survived ended up going mad and dying off, leaving only Pandora. She's able to shapeshift by mentally telling the Jade in her system to mutate a specific way, and she's able to cause illusions by infecting people with a neurotoxin she produces in her teeth/claws that can seep into the skin and travel to the brain. The neurotoxin's main ingredient is a very small dosage of the Jade she's able to tell what to do

she's not manipulating emotions, she's causing illusions. she causes them by inducing a sort of hallucinogenic state via a neurotoxin emitted from her teeth/claws, which seeps into the skin and races to the brain. she's pretty much giving the person a minuscule dose of the Jade that she is able to control the effects of

Appearance: Monstrous, unlike most human looking specimens, 6'11", 222 lbs, with limbs longer than any human his age that are covered in bulging, twisted muscle, hulking in stature, skin color is, just off. He has two rows of razored teeth, a mouth that only either looks like a shit-eating malevolent grin, or a vicious frown.
Personality: Cold, gritty, rebellious. Driven by his own caring and vengeful nature, has a kind heart and a deathwish wish, pretends to be invincible, has too much misguided rage, actually surprisingly very, very mellow. He doesn't trip, and is accepting. On the other hand, he was made to be a killing machine, and is constantly fighting against the, frankly sick urges he's been modified to have.
Abilities: Superhuman mental and physical prowess, due to the modifications he has, he outshines humans mentally and is 56% more mentally equipped, the same can be said for the rest of his modifications as he outdoors them physically by 55% as well. Has retractable and extendable spurs on his elbows and knees, and a nasty bite. Slightly superhuman senses as well.
Other: His anatomy and making will be explained later, but it's a LOOOT!
