broken (one on one, closed)

"Well, how about I buy you a beer? Or something stronger," Bastian suggested, a lazy grin spreading across his face as he set his guitar down

Cory grined, "Sure, how 'bout it" he shifted his weight to one foot and put his hands on his hips

Bastian got to his feet, taking a moment to stretch before walking over to the bar. He sat down on one of the stools before turning to Cory. "Pick your poison."

Cory follow the sound of the guys voice feeling around for tables and chairs ,"What is there?" He asked while sitting down next to him

"Beer, whiskey, vodka, mixed drinks. Guy's got a lot of stuff," Bastian said, pointing to the menu up on the wall behind the bartender. "What, you never been here before?"

Cory shook his head ,"Nope, I've never been here before and I'll take a beer please"

"Alright, cool." Bastian ordered his beer, and the bartender slid it to him before handing Bastian his own. He too a swig of it before leaning back a little

Cory took his beer and started drinking a bit ,"So. What do you like to do in your spare time?" He asked wanting to start up a conversation ,"Besides drinking." He added in quickly

"Eh, depends. I'm the clubbing type, so you'll usually see me dancing and whatnot. But I do other stuff, too," Bastian said with a shrug

"And I can tell you like to sing and play music from earlier. It was really good, you must practice a lot." Stated Cory taking a swig of his beer

"Yeah, I bounce around doing that sort of thing. I've just been doing that lately, but I usually get way more wild," Bastian chuckled

Cory nodded, "I don't think I ever caught your name, I'm Cory Tate nice to meet you." Cory held out his hand in the direction of the guy's voice, hoping he was holding it out in the right direction.

“Bastian Adler,” Bastian responded, shaking his hand before returning to his drink

Cory sighed a quiet sigh of relief when he put his hand in the right direction and continued drinking

Bastian took another swig of his drink. “So, what’s an elf doing around here?” he asked, his voice slightly lowered

Cory froze at the question and hesitantly answered, "l.. um… I…" he paused not knowing if he should tell him the truth or make up an excuse, "I left." He said hoping Bastian would buy it

Bastian raised a brow at that. "Sounds like fun," he said before sipping his drink. His species had the uncanny ability to tell whether or not someone was human, he just wanted to see how Cory would react
