Lavender crossed her arms. “Of course.” Ive been lonely my whole life. “But I wouldn’t use all my energy to trap people in a cafe instead of using my powers to open a portal to my dimension and revitalizing it, or just moving.”

Lavender chewed her bottom lip. “Okay, but then what’s this ‘no one leaves’ thing about? There has to be a bigger picture.”
"Well he probably wants to keep people here so he can keep building his universe back together."
Lavender scratched the back of her neck. “And the ghost girl?”
Ro opened her eyes. "Me? I aint no ghost."
Lavender shook her head. “Not you. There was another one, Maudie.”
"Maudie? WHAT?'
Lavender blinked. “She’s translucent, has blonde hair and completely black eyes, floats a foot above the ground, disappears? No?”
"No."
“What?! But—she was right there— it’s like—-ARG.”
"Maybe you're having hallucinations," he suggested.
Lavender shook her head. “But she showed me where the rooms were! How could I have known that?”
He shrugged. "That, I cannot answer."
Lavender let out a sigh of frustration. Just then, Milo came speeding around to them, a tiny alarm on the top of his head blaring. Sh*t., Lavender thought, scooping him up and running to her room.
"What's that?" Asura asked, jumping to his feet and following. "Is everything alright?"
It’s hatching!!!, she said telepathically, frantic. It shouldn’t be for another 8 hours!
His eyes widened. Do you need help? he asked, following her to her room without waiting for an answer.
Yes!! Please!!” She knelt on the ground, pressing the button in Milo’s stomach and removing the egg, which was rocking back and forth.
He rushed in after her, kneeling as well but not touching the egg. What do you need me to do?
The egg cracked some more, and Lavender breathed deeply. “I need you to snatch the eggshells up as soon as it hatches, then flatten yourself to the ground and stay still.”
"Uhh… okay?" He said, preparing himself. His golden aura brightened in anticipation.
Just then, something small burst from the egg, spraying slime everywhere. Din’t make A single sound!, Lavender thought at Asura, carefully but quickly cupping her hands around the tiny, soft-scaled Dino and bringing in to her face, cooing softly.

Asura waved his hand, his golden aura shimmering and wrapped around the eggshells, lifting them up in the air. They swirled into a piled in his hand, and he flattened himself to the ground.
Lavender was shocked to the core when she saw the tiny auquilops spread wings, but she quickly shrugged it off as it made a gurgling sound back to her. She let it sniff her, climb onto her shoulder, and dribble spit all over her shoulder, as was custom. A few minutes later, she and Asura were sitting in the bed while a tiny little dragon slept, curled up on her lap.
