Camp Half-Blood (reboot) (all are welcome)

In the celebration that Disney+ is recreating the Percy Jackson series into a tv show, I propose that we all return to Camp Half-blood. This rp will forever remain open because children of the gods are discovered every day. I will be the guide on any activities or games (ultimately choosing who wins and whatnot). I will also be ringing the meal times. Other than that, it is mostly up to you what you want to do and where you want to go. Do remember, actions do have consequences. If you're character gets caught, there will be punishments. Like chores and stuff.

Rules:

You're not gods, your powers will be restricted if I believe you are too strong.
Please be literate. And please write a couple of sentences so it's easier to reply too.
Let's get lots of diversity and sexuality and genders, please.
Romance is allowed but if you decide to be rated R, take it the inbox, just let me know, otherwise, it didn't happen.
There is a good chance that the quests will not include everyone in the rp, in that case, the quest will move to inbox, with me included.
You can have a maximum of two characters.
You must reply at least once a day. If you re in a quest, please reply as often as you can. If you will not be active for a certain amount of days, just give me a heads up.
I am limiting how many people are children of the big three. Hera has no children and neither does Artemis. You can, however, be a hunter.
You can be injured. If you are in a fight, you won't be leaving unscathed. So put your pride aside and let your character get a little hurt. I will control, however, any serious injuries, with your permission of course.
If you would like to be the oracle, ask please. I will ask for a sample "prophecy." If I like it, you shall be the oracle.

This is a reboot of our old rp. Everything that happened there has happened here. Anyone is welcome to join and hop in. I promise we're welcoming. Post your old or new forms. I'll put up a starter tomorrow.

Name: Wendigo "Wendi"

Powers (if any): She can control the mist
Apearance: She has short black hair that she refuses to let it grow longer than her chin. Her eyes are a deep brown color and her skin is a natural tan. She has freckles on her face and shoulders along with a few scars that she hides beneath her clothes. She stands at around 5'.
Personality: She's a fairly quiet girl, but that's just because she's naturally shy. However, over the years she's opened a lot more and made a few connections with other campers. Over the years, she's also learned to stand up for herself. She's nowhere close to how she was when she first came to camp.
Short Backstory: She's been at camp since she was 11 and refuses to talk about where she was before that. So that's all you're getting.

Powers (if any): healing, medicinal knowledge, and able to cause sickness, though this is limited (I kinda wanna see this power grow throughout the rp)
Appearance: she’s albino, so she’s got pure white hair in a bob cut and milky skin, and pale periwinkle eyes. 5’1 and has a pear-shaped body. She doesn’t really like to wear the orange t-shirt, so you’ll often see her in blacks, greys, or blues.
Personality: INFP- an idealist, calm and reserved on the outside, passionate on the inside. Driven by her morality, and often drifts into deep thought. Quiet and introverted. Very sensitive and sometimes impractical. Ironically not a morning person. Will sing her favorite songs like there’s no tomorrow. Keeps a journal where she writes poetry or just gets her feelings out.
Short Backstory: Dove’s mom died when she was three years old and has been raised by her grandmother. They were opposites in almost every way, which caused some friction between them. Grandma wanted to shape Dove into the person she wanted her to be, and she would constantly point out the things she didn’t like about Dove. This only started happening as it did when she was around 10 to 11 years old, however, and they did share many happy memories and loved each other. But by the time she was around 13, she struggled with anxiety and perfectionism.
One day, she and grandma were getting groceries when grandma started complaining that her hip was hurting. Dove instinctively put her hand on it, and healed her hip. (Still figuring out the details) They’re found by monsters, and Dove manages to fend them off, but this random boy ultimately saves them. The boy and Dove manage to take grandma back to their home, and privately, the boy reveals himself to be Dove’s guardian satyr, who’s name is Ash. He tells her about CHB and all that, and they manage to make it from Nebraska all the way to New York, and eventually to CHB.

(Everyone just be hiding their character’s backstory while I’m just like- here it is! Also, I’d like to think she and Wendi would be friends :))

Apearance: Amelia has gorgeous, waist length, blonde hair. It falls in almost perfect waves. Her skin is a smooth, golden tan, her blue eyes sparkle in the light. Her lips are plump with a cute button nose. She's fairly average height for a woman. Her body is nicely curved, her hips sway with every step she takes. She certainly has her mother's beauty.
Personality: While her looks are beautiful, she has let that go a little bit to her head. She is not the kindest nor the sweetest. She can be a bit rude, especially when you get in her way. She knows how to use her looks. She has a blunt mouth. She does as she pleases, and saying no to her only makes her do it more.
Short Backstory: She grew up in a rich household. She was neglected mostly as a child, raised by nannies. However, she went through quite a few. No nanny wanted to stay with her long. She was a horrible child. Not that she isn't still horrible.

Name: Nicolas "Nick" Hall

Apearance: Nicolas has raven black hair. It falls in little curls on top of his head. He has beautiful green eyes that peirce through the night. He has sharp cheekbones and jaw, as well as a strong nose. He towers at about six foot tall. He has an athletic build to him. He has creamy pale skin. Shadows always seem to coil themselves around him.
Personality: Nick chooses to keep to himself. He prefers the company of shadows to those of the demigods. As the son of Nemesis, he has a particular problem with getting revenge. Last time it went too far, and since then, he's sworn to keep to himself. He can snippy and rude when anyone tries to speak to him.
Short Backstory: He has been living at camp half-blood since he was twelve. He has chosen not to go back home, it's not like his father would miss him anyways.

Snow collected on the grounds of the camp, covered trees, where icicles hung from. Small, soft, snowflakes fell from the sky. It was time for the holidays and Camp Half-Blood was definitely celebrating. Like most of the world, their decorations skipped over Thanksgiving and went straight to Christmas, not that thanksgiving wouldn't be celebrated. It was definitely on the agenda. Food was already starting to be prepped for Thanksgiving. Not many campers were at camp, however. Several had left for home for Thanksgiving and would likely leave again for Christmas. The ones that stayed had no family or didn't wish to see them. The sun was setting in the late afternoon, hitting the snow perfectly. It was an hour until dinner would be ready. Campers were finishing up their activities for the day, cleaning up, putting them away. It was the calm before the storm.

Amelia stood outside, bundled from head to toe. She had on a big, fluffy coat, winter fur boots, mittens, and a beanie on top of her blonde hair. She was looking up, eyes closed, enjoying the cold. There was something about the snow that she loved. It was beautiful, innocent, but it could turn deadly. Thankfully, due to the magic of camp, it would never be more severe than this. Her nose was pink, her lips chapped for the first time in her life, and they were almost tinted blue. she had been outside too long but she couldn't force herself to go in and warm up. She was happy. She felt calm for the first the in a long time. She didn't want to be anywhere else. Snow began to collect on her eyelashes. She had eyelash extensions put in, they were long enough to catch them.

This was Wendi's least favorite time of year for a number of reasons. The first and foremost was that everyone was gone back to their families and she was brutally reminded once again that she has nowhere to be other than at Camp Half-Blood. The second is that these holidays specifically always left a bad taste in her mouth. Either way she tended to retreat back to her old self, the way she was back when she first came to Camp Half-Blood, and avoided everyone like the plague getting everything done as quickly as she possibly could.

Amelia opened her eyes, blinking the snow off her lashes. Her usual snarky and privileged self was reigned in for the time being. The holidays weren't time for any of that and at least she knew that much. She noticed some standing a little ways away, waving. Her small smile turned brighter and she returned the wave. Ashby, she believed was their name. Amelia was pretty good at remembering everyone's name. She made it a habit to learn about everyone. She kinda needed to know to do her matchmaking. Amelia debated plopping down in the snow and making snow angels but decided against it. She had already heard of the Hermes kids hiding rocks under the snow for other campers to fall on. Not the nicest prank of all things.

Wendi was so deep in her thoughts that when she spotted the motion out of the corner of her eye she was shocked. She waved back to them almost dumbly before going back to her quick walking pace through the light snow back to her cabin. She knew she should probably say more, but she didn't have the energy to really do so.

Amelia covered her mouth with her mitten-covered hands, trying to contain her laugh. Wynn was so clumsy. He never seemed to be paying attention to where he was going. Feet padding through the snow, she made her way over to the two, smiling, but holding back her laughter. Her lips were tinted a soft blue by now. She really should warm up inside but the snow was too compelling. "You should really watch where you're going Wynn. It's a miracle that you haven't gotten hurt in the forges. Actually, don't answer on that. I don't want to know what you've done to yourself in there." Amelia paused. She just realized she's never realized who match Wynn up with. Who would he be compatible with? There was a small tug in her chest as she imagined him with anyone else here. She ignored it.

The wintertime was when Dove’s differences from the rest of her siblings really showed. She enjoyed this season, the heat of the sun and annoying bugs of the summer forgotten. But her siblings all thought winter was a miserable season, which she didn’t really understand. Another thing, something that she had difficulty admitting, was that the constant burning sun was a reminder of her godly father, all the weird feelings she still had to work out about him. She didn’t have to think about it when the sky was too busy making snow, which was a relief.
She and Ash sat on the doorstep of the Apollo cabin, casually chatting and watching the snow drift to the ground. The previous year, she had gone back to her grandmother’s house for the holidays, but this year she decided to stay at camp. Ever since she had discovered she was a half-blood she had grown distant with her grandmother, and now it was almost painful. She could never be the granddaughter she wanted her to be, and going back would and seeing her would just be a reminder of that.
Her eyes drifted as her conversation with Ash fell into silence, and she noticed Wendi wandering back to her cabin. Concern made her rise to her feet.
“I’ll be back,” she told Ash, and raced after her friend.
