He smiled and shook his head. "Thanks, but I'll have to pass," he said, giving her hand a squeeze. He was relieved that she didn't ask why he couldn't go home to anyone. Feelings were not his forte.
She nodded. "If you change your mind just tell me. It's not like father will notice. Though my nanny might…" She made a face then shrugged.
"Why do I have too?" He whined.
"Because I just passed out from helping healing Phoebe. You didnt" Alex said
He groaned. "So, you're fine now right? You go then."
"I will," he said.
Alex thought for a minute "Fine" She said and melted into the shadows with a grin. She reappeared beside Ryker and Phoebe
Ryker looked at the person who had just appeared. He stood up immediately. "Alex, what's happened?" he asked.
She smiled. She jumped when Alex appeared then groaned in pain.
"Sorry I didnt mean to scare you" Alex said kneeling down beside them
Ryker stayed standing. "Did you guys find Mihala?" he asked.
"No but I need both of you to come with me"
"Oh great, standing, walking…" Phoebe muttered. "Um…one thing, I can barely move. Broken bones remember."
"Did you find something?" he asked. He felt like he was asking too many questions.
"we think so. you dont have to move I just am going to need to shadow travel with you guys"
He looked at Phoebe, then back at Alex. "What did you find?"
"Were not sure. I think its an entrance to the labyrinth"
"You're kidding," Ryker said. "If it is an entrance, that would explain the cyclopeses appearing out of nowhere,"
"Why is there in an entrance in the middle of a hotel?"
"It would explain the cyclopes, Im not kidding now, and no idea" Alex said "We have to get back there soon though or they could be completely lost" She said holding out her hands to Ryker and Phoebe
"Alright, let's go," he said, looking at Phoebe.
"Broken ribs remember. Hurts to stand, move, breathe…"
Alex took Rykers hand and gently took Phoebes hand "Fasten your seat belts cause its gonna be a bumpy ride" She said right before they began to melt into the shadows
They suddenly appeared in front of everyone. Ryker walked over to the wall and investigated it. "I've heard people talk about the labyrinth before. You need to find a Delta symbol." he said.
“A what now?”
Ryker thought about it. He wasn't the best at this kind of stuff. "It's the fourth letter in the Greek alphabet… looks like a triangle," he said.
“Oh, that? I don’t think so?”
"We can't enter unless you've found one," Ryker stated. "I think,"
"Its usually blue and glowing faintly" Alex added
“Well then let’s look for it.”
