(Sorry I left so early. The school decided to spring a surprise trip to the skating rink on us.
And Ryker lost a lot of blood. Probably cut an artery (not entirely, otherwise he would’ve died immediately, but partially) so he’s dying from blood loss)
Phoebe sniffed and wiped her eyes dry. It didn't work because more tears just replaced the ones she wiped away. "Yeah, it does." Her voice broke a little and she held onto him tighter. "Don't go."
Ryker held her as tight as he could, which wasn't tight at all. He knew not to give into the weakness, but it was becoming more difficult by the second. He rested his cheek on the top of her head and closed his eyes, no longer able to stay awake.

Kaden closed his eyes but jolted when he heard crying. "That can't be good." He muttered.
“I’m going to check.” Elizabeth said, getting up.
Kaden stood up with her "stay behind me." He said
“What, why?”
"Just do as you're told Elizabeth. I want you safe." He bent over and kissed her forehead.
“B-fine.” Elizabeth sighed, “Lead the way.”

Everything was distant now. The crying, the pain, everything. Anger boiled inside of him, but he had lost the ability to do anything. It was so cold…
He turned on his heels and walked back the path they came from. He stopped abruptly when he saw what was going on.
