asras eyes stays on his, leaning up and kissing him

Alex leans into the kiss for a moment, then breaks away with a sigh. "I'm tired still."

" i can tell.." he said softly and ran his fingers through the others hair

Alex nods. "I'm going to…"

His words trail off, and he passes out once more. Just before he falls asleep, he says "If I don't wake up, make sure you continue with the duties of Kuranparagon."

asra waited for his alpha to fall back asleep before calling his friend hed made. "somethings… wrong i think.."

Saffron was currently jogging in the park, listening to her tunes. She stops when she hears Asra's ringtone.

"Huh. I'll be over there soon." she says in response, and sighs. Barely made an alpha, and he's already calling us fo favors.

She reaches the house in a few minutes and knocks, letting herself in.

asra was pacing, worried.. "h..hey…"

Saffron sighs. "I'll see what I can do, I suppose."

Shen walks into the room, and immediately her eyes focus on Alex. Frowning, she walks over and traces patterns above his form, mimicing his body's meridians.

"He's…" she sighs. "He's exhausted is lifeforce."

"wha..what happens next?"

Saffron shrugs. "That depends."

"what do you mean?!" he was beginning to panic

Saffron sighs. "Best case scenario, he wakes up in a couple months."

"months?" asra asked " i.. i gotta go outside.." he said as his eyes teared up

Saffron sighs, and lets Asra walk out to collect himself. And he doesn't even know the worst case scenario, although I'm sure he's figured it out.

asra sat outside, crying silently.

Eventually, Saffron walks outside and sits beside Asra, not touching him but giving him the option of hugging her if need be.

asra looked over at her " what am i supose to do ?!"

Saffron sighs. "That depends. Do you want the Kuranparagon to collapse?"

"no…" he mumbled softly

Saffron shrugs. "Then it's easy: you take over for Alex and hope for the best."

" but I don't know what in doing.."

"Neither did Alex at first, and he didn't have anyone to live for. You do. Emulate him." Saffron murmurs.

Asra sighed and looked to the sky. " There's a meeting tonight,right?"

Saffron nods. "Yeah. I'll see you there."

Asra nodded. As time grew closer he got dressed and kissed Alex on the forehead, leaving the house and locking the door

Alex doesn't stir. He does not dream, either.

Saffron sighs as she leaves. If Alex dies, it will break Asra completely.

She shakes her head, then dons her cloak and sits down at her place at the table.

Asra walked in alone, it felt like all eyes were on him, even if they weren't

Saffron nods encouragingly, gesturing to Asra's seat.
