"can the damn chains come off?"

asra snuggled up to his alpha "i know, but you can keep telling me." he chuckled

Alex laughs. "Yeah, and I will. Anyways, I need to sleep at night, unlike you."

asra chuckled and gave a soft yawn. " i guess ill just sleep with you, doing that does take it out of ya. " he said and looked at his alpha lovingly

Alex smiles at the play on words. He looks at Asra just as lovingly, then passes out.

The next morning, he wakes up and gets up, stretching like a cat.

asra held tighter to alex and whined when he moved "nu.. dont go.."

Alex laughs. "Okay, okay!"

He stays, a smile tugging at his lips.

asra snuggled back into his alphas chest and sighs contently.

A couplehours later, Alex knew it was time to get up. "I need to go, hun. Don't worry, I'll be back."

"alright.." he said softly, letting go

Alex nods, then leans in and kisses Asra. He's gone a moment later.

He sighs as he steps out of the house. So… clan politics again. This time, Nightshade again. I really don't want to deal with them again…

asra got up a bit later, dressing and cleaning the house. he had it spotless and supper made by time his alpha got home

By the time negotiatians were over, Alex was weary and tired, ready to snap at somebody. He got home to find a clean house, and smiles. He was busy!

"Hey, I'm home!" he calls, knowing it was unnecessary; Asra had probably already heard him.

asra come out, his little apron around his waist and his face smudged with flour " i made your favorite." he said softly

Alex chuckles. "Oh, you didn't have to!"

But he was already in the kitchen, so the effectiveness of the statement was greatly diminished.

asra chuckled, getting his own plate " i know how stressful the conferences can be."

Alex sighs. "Oh, you don't know the half of it. There's some conferences that you haven't been to, and you never want to. Especially dealing with the Naitoshēdo."

He digs into the food, practically inhaling it.

asra chuckled " so im assuming it got cooked to your liking?"

Alex nods, too busy stuffing his face to speak.

asra gave a proud smile and finished his plate, taking it to the kitchen to wash and put it up

Alex devours what's left, then sits on the couch with a sigh of contentment.

"How did I survive without you?" he asks, eyes closed.

"no clue." he said softly and moved into his alphas lap

Alex grins, lifting one eyelid and grinning.

"Fair enough." he chuckles.

asra laid his head on alexs chest and moved to get comfy. once he found a good spot he relaxed and took a few deep breaths

Alex's breathing evens out, and he slowly falls asleep.

asra had fallen asleep as well, nuzzling into the crook of his alphas neck

Alex wakes to find Asra still on his, asleep. He doesn't move a muscle, not wanting to disturb him.

asra was still clinging to his alpha, sleeping peacefully as his smaller fangs poked out of his mouth

Alex sees Asra's fangs poking out, and has to supress a laugh. He feels his own with his tongue, marveling at their sharpness and length. Even after all this time, he found it hard to believe that he, of all people, was a vampire. And the head of the most powerful downtown clown.

asra had started to wake, his silver eyes poking out from under his eyelashes

Alex chuckles. "You're awake."
