Cedarwood University Disappearances (closed again)

I want to join an RP but every regular RP is either a one on one, closed/way too developed for me to just jump in, or has a plot/idea that I'm not really interested in. So I'm reviving an old idea that I started an RP for, but it didn't last very long.

In 1979, at Cedarwood university, 8 professors mysteriously disappeared. Only 4 of the bodies were found. It was assumed the rest were dead as well. The cause of death was never released, and after a few years, the case went cold.
Nobody talked about that time, or even remembered it, until 2018, when the disappearances started happening again. One by one, each week, a professor disappeared. 8 students come together to investigate after their favorite professors vanish.

Personality: kind of distant because he wouldn't want to burden anyone, emotional, overthinking, rebellious, carefree, a quick thinker, street smart, doesn't know what he's doing with his life, has an over-active imagination, a daydreamer.
Outfit: dirty, distressed jeans, brown timberlands, black hoodie he lives in.
Appearance: white-blond hair slicked back with a few locks dangling in front of his eyes, pale skin, navy blue eyes, tall, slim but strong, either a cigarette or toothpick dangling from his mouth, dark circles under his eyes, bruised knuckles.
Favourite Professor: Mr. Alderson
Breif backstory: had a rough childhood with careless parents and ran away a lot, he was a 'gifted' child but can't stay out of trouble, got/gets into a lot of fights, luckily his grades landed him a scholarship.

Appearance: black hair, cut to her ears, dark lashes, black eyes, some freckles, tan skin, bruises on her elbows.

Brief backstory:Parents divorces when she was 8, mom was depressed ever since, never paid attention to her, so she would spend most of her time skating alone, while playing a beatles album.
Other:Skating 4life, loves music, secretly wants someone who would give her attention, cant live without ice cream, her longboard is plain black, with her desings on the bottom

Brief backstory: When he was fourteen, three of his best friends died in a school shooting. He blames himself for their deaths and is formerly suicidal, but he's gone through a lot of therapy and is a lot better than he used to be
Other: He's fluent in ASL and is amazing at playing the piano

(I mean there's a lot more sexualities besides gay and straight, but anyway I'll agree to that. As long as you respect the LGBTQA+ characters (even if you don't support it) I'm pretty sure everyone's going to respect you)

(I mean I understand that it makes you uncomfortable and I'm not trying to be rude, but I honestly don't think it's fair to do that to couples that aren't straight. I'm not @SaltyLasagna so I can't actually make the decision, but if the couples aren't doing anything inappropriate then I don't see a reason that they shouldn't be able to exist on here without going on PM)

Brief backstory: She went through the foster system but was never adopted, she has depression from years of bullying and feeling neglected from being moved from foster home to foster home, but her mental state is better now that she's out of the system. Her parents died in a bad car accident when she was little and no one else in her family was able to care for her. She has a tendency to not trust people and is always afraid of someone leaving her again, but she hides it pretty well from those around her.
Other: She's the drummer in a band, she plays multiple instruments, she rides a motorcycle, she has a tattoo of a broken stitched together heart on the inside of her left wrist
