Chasing Icarus (open)

It all started when the bombs dropped, sickness and decay, the death of many and misery for the rest. The radiation was too much, we lose to much, people changed and so did the earth, adapt or die, for some, but of course, there was a way out, for those who could afford it, obviously, big capsules the size of a continent wandering on the skies, kicking out those who weren´t wanted…
Now, we roam around the earth in a wasteland trying to survive, but we don´t want to live like that, not anymore, now, we chase the capsules, there´s one names Icarus that wanders around the desert, we are chasing it and we are getting what we want from it.

Basically, you are stealing all you need to survive from a place filled with rich people but first you have to get inside of it, of course, you gotta survive a wasteland with radioactivity and weird creatures firts. Rules are simple, just be nice and have fun, swearing and violence are allowed but don´t exaggerate.

Things so remember

• The bombs dropped a few centuries ago.
• Since it has been years cultures evolved and mixed, the place you currently find yourself has influences from eastern Asia, Africa, Polynesian island, Central America and western Europe.
• There are more places with other cultures, currently the wasteland you are in is sort of like a desert, there are some covered in snow, others are jungle-like, etc.
• Your main means of transportation is what you would call a vessel, imagine something like a ship but it has tank tires and is made to tug big containers.

Brief description of personality: Jordan was raised to survive just like everyone else. He doesn’t get emotionally attached to things or people easily and this hell scape was all he knows. That being said, Jordan doesn’t open up about anything and is a realist.
Extra: He never knew his father and was always told he died through some sickness. Whether Jordan believed that or not didn’t matter as it never effected his life.

Brief description of how your character looks: Really skinny, shaggy brown hair and brown eyes, tons of freckles and olive skin.
Brief description of personality: he is a little bit pesimistic, not grumpy, in fact, he just acts like he´s tired all the time, which he actually is, despite his pesimistic nature he actually cares a lot about the people that are close to him and has a weird fascination for the creatures of the wasteland, a little bit of an introvert who won´t hesitate to spend all day watching all the critters that roam around the place as soon as he gets anything to protect himself from the radiation.
Extra: Ronan was somehow the only one who survive of his family after they all contracted a virus, he started to wander around the place on his own after that.

(I mean, there are giant capsules flying around the place with rich people so the vessel is pretty pausible in that scenario…)

(Since I won´t be here roleplaying for christmas or new year then I guess I should write something just to set the mood of the whole roleplay…)

The sun was blinding and the sand felt like burning coal under everyone´s feet, almost like an oven, tha´s a good way to describe it, Ronan could swear he was seeing steam coming out of the ground. There were vultures flying around, big mutated birds with big claws and shap beaks, the skin of their heads and neck looked more like an armor actually, the corpse was human… Probably, there may be some animal bones there, the motor of the vessel roared and the tires lifted enough sand to hide them, soon a loud buzzing noise covered the one from the vessel.

A capsule, of course, it was way too far and way faster than the vessel but it was loud enough to be heard, maybe a due to a malfunction, which meant they would have to stop, if that was the case, it was their lucky day.
