Alice quickly pulled away when she heard a voice and turned around to face Cyrus. "I forgot about her…."

"Correction, princess, him. Cyrus is a guy. And I doubt he was paying attention. He has Arthur to look after." She chuckled.

Cyrus laughs gently. "A damsel in distress? I shall save you, my love!" He says teasingly, taking Arthur's hand in his, bowing and kissing the back of his hand.

Arthur giggles slightly and pulls him into his tent, “Why thank you my knight in shining armor!”

"I was talking about the Mistress." She said with a slight laugh.

Cyrus smiles gently and kisses his cheek as he was pulled into Arthur's tent. "Of course, my love." He starts, a bolt of pain running through his head. He winces, before resting his head on Arthur's shoulder. Breathe… He scolds himself.

"I was talking about the Mistress." She said with a slight laugh.

"Oh yeah. She sucks. I will repeat this, no one likes her except for Silk. But Cyrus has to be on her good side for at least a little bit because she's the one that gives him blood. Yes, Cyrus is a vampire. Or is it half vampire? I don't remember, it's one of the two."

Arthur looks at him worriedly, and then has a look of realization, “Oh..that’s why you were going to Mistress, I’ll keep watch and you can just go hunt now..”

"I was talking about the Mistress." She said with a slight laugh.

"Oh yeah. She sucks. I will repeat this, no one likes her except for Silk. But Cyrus has to be on her good side for at least a little bit because she's the one that gives him blood. Yes, Cyrus is a vampire. Or is it half vampire? I don't remember, it's one of the two."

"Okay then, cool. So, everyone hates the Mistress, she hates everyone, right?"

"Yep. We hate her and she hates us too. She just keeps us around as portable money making machines with the circus."

"So we're here for no reason?"

"Pretty much. It's like a murder hotel. You go in, but you don't come back out. The last time someone tried to escape, she caught them and whipped them to death. There was blood everywhere, I was cleaning bits of muscle, tissue, and skin off the tent for weeks."

"Why did you have to be descriptive? Now that image is stuck in my head forever."

She shrugged. "Sorry princess, that's what I do."

"I know, but still. I regret imagining that."

"I can think of a few ways to get it out of your head." She smiled a little.

"What do you mean?"

She leaned down and kissed her lightly. "Like that."

Cyrus shakes his head. "My bloodlust can wait. You are more important." He says gently, caressing his cheek.

She chuckled but kissed back. "We might get caught."

"And if we do? What are they gonna do about it? Cyrus and Arthur haven't gotten caught yet. It can be our little secret." She smiled slyly.

She smiled slightly and kissed her. "That sounds good."

"Good, I'd hate to force you into something you didn't want to do."

"Why would I not want to be in a relationship with you?"

"Because I'm just a circus prop. People think I'm insane. Lots of fun stuff like that."

"I don't think you're a circus prop or insane. I think you're just a normal human being." Unlike meeeeee

Cyrus shakes his head. "My bloodlust can wait. You are more important." He says gently, caressing his cheek.

“I don’t want you to hurt yourself…I won’t hold it against you if you need to go, I’d wish for you to be healthy more than by my side”

She chuckled lightly. "Normal. Yeah. Let's go with that."
