Griffin did a roll forward into pike on the trapeze, the contraption spinning fast on the spot as he held the position, moving easily into a meat hook, one of the hardest moves.
Circus RP (Closed)
She grinned at Griffin as she went into another star split.
Eli smiled at Ana and waited for his cue.
Eleanore kept on singing, the crescendo coming up. She desperately hoped her voice wouldn't break as it had before.
Ana decided to take a risk. She twisted her legs around the silk and took a deep breath. Oh gosh…I'm ten feet in the air…no, don't focus on that.. In one smooth motion, she fell back, her body now upside down. Her feet were the only things stopping her from falling.
(Hi I'm here, sorry, I just woke up! Where should I come in?)
(oh awesome we need Leo, Lia andELi to get in now, we thought they'd go in at the same time led by Eli?)
(yeah sure)
(Okay, that sounds good)
(perfect)
Leo signalled to Eli and Lia. Ready, he mouthed to them.
Eli grabbed his baton from a nearby stool. "Let's go." He dramatically walked into the ring, twirling his baton and throwing it up in the air.
Leo somersaulted in behind Eli, doing a triple flip.
Lia followed with a cartwheel into a back handspring, smiling as big as she could up into the cheering crowds.
Leo tucked his hand behind his back and executed a double aerial, landing to the left of Lia.
Alright Eli, you've got this. He casually took one of the batons and lit one end on fire. He heard the crowd gasp. He threw it above his head and caught it.
(I have to go for a little bit bye!)
(ok see you later)
Lia gently squeezed Leo's arm as she hoisted herself up to a platform where a small ring was hanging. She stuck one leg in and jumped into it, and started to hang upside down. The ring was raised and she started to go through her routine.
Griffin grinned as his friends all walked in, the thrill of performing pumping adrenaline into his veins as his flipped and jumped from trapeze to trapeze, lowering himself closer and closer to the ground as he waited for the crescendo.
Leo somersaulted and vaulted onto another platform just beneath Lia's ring. He dramatically extended his arm, looking down, bracing himself for when Lia was to flip into his arms.
Eli lit his other baton as well and began spinning both of them, carefully watching to make sure he didn't burn himself like he did in practice.
Ana felt a little dizzy from hanging upside down for so long, so she adjusted herself and moved the silk around slightly, doing an elegant dance.
Eleanore stepped forward, placing a hand on her stomach and preparing for the A note.
Griffin hung from the trapeze, holding a pose with his feet about a meter from the ground, preparing himself.
The song picked up. The musicians stood up, signalling to her her big moment was coming up soon.
Lia does her last trick in the ring up in the air, grateful that it was almost over, as this was the hardest trick. She grabs the ring with one hand and holds on tightly as she starts to lower her body down until her hand is the only thing touching the ring. She lets go of the ring and gracefully flips into Leo's arms. "Not bad," she whispers softly.
Ana recognized this part of the song and twisted her legs tighter around the silk, preparing for the finale.
Leo nodded and lifted her up, vaulting them both off and back to the ground.
The crescendo arrived. Eleanore stiffened at spread her arms, the A note rising into the air, flawless and strong. She held it, fighting to keep in steady. Vibrato was seeping into her voice.
Ana did one final star split, grinning at the audience.
Eli held one flaming baton in each hand, the fire crackling in his ears.
Griffin tugged on the rope, shooting upwards like an arrow in time with Eleanore, the nite ringing pure and perfect. He grinned. Good job, Ella.
(Can he call her that?)
