In the city of Neo Arcadia (ahem clichė ahem), there are four races. The humans, who've gotten to where they are by the use of technology. The Hazrans, who are borderline immortal, and have a secret natural weapon they can utilize. The Tepakis, who are gifted with psychic powers and one extrasensory ability each. The Hasloi, who are small, subterranean parodies of humans, with senses adapted for underground. Hybrids exist, but they are rare due to the racial tension between the four. In fact the city is split into five Sections.
- The technology rich futuristic human section, with decent transportation, education and medicine.
- The Hazrian Ghetto, which is dilapidated, with terrible infrastructure.
- Tepakia Town, which is somewhat culture-rich, but crime ridden, and of course it's rundown, with many places closed for lack of safety.
- The Hasloi Subway is underground and often treacherous, and a large albino tremor wyrm lurks down there.
