(I'm glad you guys can't see me, I just bounced around my room squeaking)
Swiftstar curled her tail around her mate and lay her head on the brown cats shoulder. "We can't blame them too much for their shenanigans, you, Ravenheart, and I were much worse. Do you remember when we snuck out to visit the Moonpool as apprentices because Rabbitstar wouldn't let us. And when we snuck into RiverClan territory to try fish and Ravenheart almost drowned?" She licked Springheart's head.
"I can tell you're worried about Stormpaw and Cloudypaw. And Mistpaw and Flamepaw. Lots of cats are in half clan relationships these days. Silverpaw is and she thought I wouldn't notice. I'm her mentor for StarClan's sake." She nudged the other she-cat. "And it isn't like you can talk. Before you say anything I will remind you that I am allowed to tease you, I'm your mate."
Springheart laughed, nuzzling Swiftstar's cheek. "Don't remind me about the Moonpool." she mewed, twitching her ear. "Or us sneaking into RiverClan." she shook her head, snickering slightly. "I was absolutely terrified when I saw Ravenheart fell into the river," she twitched her tail, "Though. I wouldn't mind having another fish." She remembered sneaking in the dead of night, having had rolled on the RiverClan scent markers as to night get caught. It was a crazy night, one which she almost forgot about until Swiftstar had mentioned it.
"Yes! Yes, I do like you!" Cloudypaw said, stepping towards the brown tabby tom. "Oh, thank StarClan. I thought you were going to say you didn't like me and I got worried and panicked a bit and then you kicked my cheek and I got really overwhelmed over whether it was a friend thing or an 'I like you' thing." She paused to breathe in. "But now I have to leave. And Scorchfeather won't let me go to the gathering because of what happened when I last saw her. So I don't know when I'll see you again!"
Stormpaw paused before he broke into a bright and large smile. "Oh, Thank StarClan. I thought you didn't feel the same…" he sighed. He was so focused on Cloudypaw he didn't even notice Mistpaw padding away and into the clearing and out of the tall grass. When Cloudypaw spoke again after, after taking a deep breath, his eyes widened. "I almost forgot you had to leave…" he murmured. He flicked his tail as he looked away with a huff, Almost… I just wish she could just stay. "Scorchfeather's a arrogant, fox-heart. rabbit-brain!" he hissed. "If she doesn't let you go to the gathering i'll personally go up to that ginger rat and claw off her ears!" he growled, his tail lashing angrily.
It isn't fair! Cloudypaw shouldn't be dealing with this stupid stuff because of her dumb mentor!
"I wish you could just be in WindClan," he mewed, looking Cloudypaw in the eyes. "Then neither of us could have to worry about Scorchfeather- or- or just us being in different clans."
Sorry this took forever to get out smh. But heeere. Have Springheart reminiscing on being a rebel apprentice, and Stormpaw being pissed at Scorchfeather <33 //
