Kenzie sat across from Hunter while he finished eating. She held her left hand out in front of her, turning and tilting it to watch the diamonds on her ring catch the light. A small smile tugged on the corners of her lips as she admired it, oblivious to anything else around her.

While Hunter was eating, he caught Kenzie admiring the ring on her finger with a smile on her face. Seeing her like that lit up a spark in Hunter, his lips forming a smile as well. He didn’t realize she’d be that happy, but she was and it made him crazy, too.
“So, about that party…” Hunter decided to tug her out of her daydream. “Where do you want it to be held?”
