~ "I'm sure she will be." Hailflight replied. "Squirreltail said she would bring Bluebellkit with her this time." She stoped in front of the fresh-kill pile and pulled out a thrush. "We can share this." She muttered around the feathers, trotting over to the warriors den and laying next to the entrance.

"Okay…" Hickorykit lay beside Hailflight and rested his head on his paws. Despite not having eaten much of anything all day, he didn't have much of an appetite. He was still struggling to process everything he'd seen and heard.
~ Hailflight nudged the thrush toward him. "Eat. You'll need energy if you want to make it all the way there. I'll still carry you there if you want, though." She purred with a smile.
Hickorykit sighed and reluctantly took a bite of the thrush. He normally loved them, but right now it just felt dry and tasteless in his mouth. He wasn't in a state where he could appreciate it.
~ Hailflight knew Hickorykit was confused, but she didn't know what to say that could help, so she sat in silence, looking up at the stars.
(I think we're almost ready to start the ball part. What do you guys think?)
(Sounds good to me. We should probably wait for the others, though)

"I'm okay! I'm okay!" Bluebellkit shook her head a bit to get the snow off. "I'm fine. I'm gonna get you back, though!" She grinned and ran off to make a big snowball. Once she did, she rolled it back out and threw it at Gingerflake as well as she could, falling back into the snow with a soft 'oof'.
Gingerflake watched as the snowball barely hit her paw, on a few speckles of the cold, white snow fall on her large ginger paw. She let out a muffled snicker, "that was a nice throw, Bluebellkit!" she watched as Bluebellkit jumped back to her small paws. Quickly rolling up a snowball she tossed it at one of her closer opponents, that being Shadowpaw. Gingerflake watched as the snowball hit the apprentice right in the shoulder. The ginger-and-white patched molly laughed, "sorry!" she called to the slightly surprised apprentice. In a flash, she jumped out of the way of a fairly big snowball, tumbling around in the snow, her ginger spots turning white as the snow clung to her fur. "brr! wow it's cold!" she shivered, shaking her pelt.
Bluebellkit ran around with excitement, purring happily while she formed a couple more snowballs. She tossed them at nearby cats as well as she could, but she wasn't very strong and her aim was atrocious. Despite her lack of skill, she seemed to be enjoying herself immensely.

~ Shadowpaw let out a yelp and jumped back, her fur spiking. "Cold! Cold cold cold!" She glanced around, and after a moment her eyes landed on Bluebellkit. "Hmm…" The apprentice padded closer to the others, and formed a ball of snow, which she then tossed at Bluebellkit. It wasn't a direct hit, but pretty close. Shadowpaw giggled, and began forming more snowballs.
Bluebellkit yelped and jumped at the cold, scurrying off to make some more snowballs. She grabbed one and tossed it back at Shadowpaw. It missed horribly, but Bluebellkit didn't seem to care.
~ Shadowpaw tossed a snowball in Hollypaw's direction, and then ran at Gingerflake in an attempt to tackle her into the snow.
~ Gingerflake saw from the corner of her eye of Shadowpaw, racing at her. Gingerflake smiled and when Shadowpaw was close enough, Gingerflake jumped at the apprentice and the two tussled around in the snow for a few seconds. Gingerflake jumped off and let out a laughed / loud giggle (it's kinda mix of the two), as she shook the snow off of her pelt again.
~ Shadowpaw got to her paws with a laugh, shaking the snow from her pelt. She glanced around for a new target, her eyes landing on Clearpaw and Hollypaw.
(I kinda wanna start shipping Hollypaw and Clearpaw.)
