Evan nodded. "Evan Meric Dimon. You have an interesting way of talking, I like it. And everyone right now is just picking and choosing their rooms, so plop yourself where ever." He lugged up the bag of clothes and headed inside with a smile. As he passed by Ember he gave a small wave.

At that moment Evelyn's head popped out of the bedroom and caught site of Kazumi. "Oh! Fresh meat! I mean-hello new roomie!" Her first comment got her a smack on the head by Evan. "Quit being creepy." "Whaaaaat? New people to prank and talk too and become fast friends with, flirt with and piss off. And they have no idea any of my mannerisms which means I can use old gimmicks." Evan shook his head. "Shush and go back to your room." He then turned to Kazumi. "Where would you like your room?"

Ember turned around at the sound of new voices and groaned inwardly. Great, the girl seemed to be quite social, along with the boy, Evan, she presumed, though not as much. Well… safe to say, this would be an interesting setup. It seemed that everyone seemed to be relatively happy being social, well that is, except for her. But only then did Evelyn's words truly sink in. *"New people to prank and talk to and become fast friends with, flirt with and piss off." Ah, so it seemed it wouldn't be too hard to get in a fight with the girl, then.

Jake had also decided to put his things down for the time being and join the others. If he was going to live here then he might as well introduce himself.
As soon as he reached the bottom of the staircase he saw more people talking except for the one girl that he had seen earlier trying to get away from everyone- Ember. He approached her from behind the couch, then cleared his throat. "Hey, are you really not gonna speak with the others?"
Jake mentally kicked himself. He was supposed to say 'Hey, how are you? My names Jake! Nice to meet you!' but with less enthusiasm because he wasn't exactly the type to talk like he was constantly on sugar- or drugs.
"Sorry. That came out wrong. I meant to introduce myself. I'm Jake…you are?" He questioned.

Sarah was still unpacking her room, but by now Orthorion was done. He made his way out of his room, milling around. Eventually, he made his way downstairs. So many new people. He'd only ever really known Sarah, afterall.
"Hello," he said quietly.

Ember glanced at Jake, her expression not exactly inviting. "Why would I bother speaking with my roommates when last year was a complete disaster? I'm… Ember," she answered, sighing softly. So now she'd have to make small talk with someone? That was just dandy, maybe he wouldn't try to press on her nerves.

Jake arched an eyebrow, slightly pouting his mouth afterward. He was quite taken aback by Ember's spunk. "Alrighty then, that's something I suppose." He straightened his posture and shoved his hands into his pockets. "I guess I should go talk to the other now then," He said, eyes flickering from Ember to the rest of the people talking in the room. "Unless you want to talk about something else?" He paused, then his features lit up. "Oh! Maybe you'd like to come down to my workplace later today? It's a nice way to relax if you're having a stressful day- I find that people like to unwind that way" He said, now smiling. Every time he talked about his work it seemed to excite him, it was, after all, his favorite place on earth.

The way Jake seemed to light up when he talked about his work got a small smile out of Ember, it was always nice to see a friendly face around… She tilted her head as if she was thinking. "Hmm… perhaps… where is your workplace?" she inquired, curious. Maybe if there weren't going to be many people there, just maybe it would all work out. Perhaps a safe space, someplace to hideout from the rest of the world.
