"I'm in an ice cream mood." She said.
"Ok. I'll get you one," Evan said and walked to the canteen to get an ice-cream for Avery and hot chips for himself.

Avery smiled. "Thank you Evan." She took a seat and messed with her hair as she waited.

Cassandra finished up her late lunch the same time she finished her book. She began to wander around, looking for something sweet to satisfy her sweet tooth when she spotted the soft serve ice-cream. Always a sucker for ice cream, she walked over there, picking up a cone, and attempted to give her ice cream a nice swirl of strawberry.
Evan lined up for the soft serve ice cream and watched as a girl tried to serve herself some strawberry ice-cream.
"Here. Let me help you," Evan said as he took the cone and served a perfect serve of ice-cream (is that what you call it?)

"Wow, do you major in the swirl of ice cream or something?" Cassandra joked. She took the ice cream from him, and licked it. "Strawberry is the cure for everything, especially writer's block." She pushed up her glasses and giggled at her very, very, sad attempt at a joke. "Thanks."
(Now I dont know what to do with my character.)
Evan smiled nervously-ish.
"Your welcome," then he made a soft serve for Avery and went to collect his chips.

Evan collected his chips and went back to Avery.
"Here you go," he said handing the ice-cream to Avery, "If you want anything else, just ask."
Avery smiled and took it from him. She started to scoop some out and took a bite. "Thank you." She said with a mouth full of ice cream. She swallowed and shook her head. "No, I'm okay."

"Hot, hot, hot!" Evan said shaking his hand.
Avery burst out laughing, accidently spitting out some ice cream. "Oh Evan, you're a treat."
Evan smiled, "Which one?"
Elliot eyed the cuckoo clock resting behind the counter as he sat at an empty table. I could add it to my collection..
Cassandra headed back to her table where she had–dumbly–left her unaccompanied bag with her computer and book. She walked to her dorm, still eating her ice cream, and trying to come up with good dialogue for her main character for the plot twist.

Adrik strolled into the cafeteria, waving to a few people on his way in, sending a charming smile to the people walking by. A red headed girl chuckled, throwing a bottle of water and an orange to him. He nodded to her as a thanks, and scanned the room for a place to sit.
She wiped her mouth. She leaned back. "I'll have to taste you to find out." She smirked and a winked.

"I hope that you're a cupcake," Evan bopped Avery on the nose and leaning in as well, "I like a good cupcake."
She wrinkled her nose. "Guess you'll just have to find out sometime." She took a bite of her ice cream.
"I hope it's soon," Evan picked up one of his chips and twirl it around while leaning back into his chair," "Man, I sure am hoping for a lot of things." Then he ate the chip which wasn't hot any more.
