She blinked and looked at her shoulder, taking the ice away.

"Your shoulder feeling better?"

"Yes, a lot," she answered.

"Good! Maybe you will be able to play after all. Either way, I'll be there." A smiled up at Reese happily.

"I'm playing," Reese said, looking at her. "No matter what. And you can't stop me."

"Wow, it's like you want me to tie you down."

"You can't stop me from playing tomorrow," Reese repeated firmly.

"Fine, but if you're going to, you need to fucking rest." She replied, raising an eyebrow as though anticipating a challenge.

"Okay," she said, putting the ice pack on the table.

"Good. Now, what time is it?"

"Well, I've got nothing planned, so if you don't mind, I think I'll stick around here. We can order food later, since I can't take you out yet."

Bridget shrugged. "Most of my free time is devoted to my classes, and if not, my business." She briefly checked her phone again. Nothing. She breathed out sharply and looked back over at him.

"Well then," Blaze started brushing his hair up. "Let me help change that for you. If you want, I'm going to a trampoline park on Sunday." He suggested in a questioning tone but also a statement.

"Oh. I hope you have fun then," she said, the invite completely passing over her head.

"Nice! So waddya wanna do?"

"I don't know. I can't do much." She tilted her head towards her shoulder.

"Twenty questions?" She asked, sitting up.

"I love 20 questions!" Reese enthused.

"How do you usually play it?"

"Someone picks a thing, and other people have to ask 20 yes or no questions to guess what it is."

"Wow I think I mighta been thinking of a totally different game. Let's play!"
