“Look, if we mess up the first few times, it’s fine,” Natalia sighed. “For one, we just need to plan really well. For two, just about anyone can Ben bribed and my parents have money.”

Paran just shakes his head and stands there. Everyone gets the feeling he doesn't talk much.

"I'm serious, if Echo passed the Turing Test that would be a reveloution for modern technology!"

"Okay I'm a programmer," Lotus looked at the robot obsessed girl, "But making a robot with free will, does not seem like a good idea."

“Much less one that’s existed for how long - a thousand years? They were still killing people with no shame back then!”

"Not free will…. exactly. It still needs a program to keep it alive. And this program is sexy by computer standards. If Echo passed it they would count as a human being."

"Still not a good idea," Lotus said, "Now if we downloaded it onto all of our devices it would be a lot easier to communicate and use. But no robot body."

"Oh, I meant like a portable interface."

"Then you should have made that clearer," Lotus said.

"I'm sorry," Lotus got slightly offended, "But what did you just say?"

"Oh," Lotus calmed down slightly, "Never watched it."

In the back, Paran mutters. "We're dead, Jim."

Damian, Peyton, and Sydney simultaneously smacked their foreheads. "Y'all are getting way of topic here." Peyton said. " and we really can't make a movable interface right at this very moment, even if we figure out that this is safe. "

"Got it," Lotus responded. She got quiet.
