Other: Slytherin (obviously), Has been separated from his parents for… reasons… (again you may be lucky enough to get him to open up :D), Has a black cat named Hermes that occasionally delivers mail for him rather than an owl (not that he really receives mail tho)

Max plopped down at the desk, not sure whether he wanted to study or not. Of course, he didn't want to but he probably should.

Lloyd curled up in a corner of the common room with a book. He had set a sort of rule for himself that he had to be in the common room unless he was sleeping because he was trying to be more social. It never really worked though, and he usually just found a lone corner to sit in. Making friends was very daunting to him.

Max turned in his seat. "Hey! Pssst! You in the corner…"

Lloyd jumped a bit, startled by the sudden voice. "Er, y-yes?" He set the book in his lap.

"What do you think? Should I study or not?"

"Probably so, unless you have a photographic memory. I've found it helpful, but your work is probably harder than mine." Lloyd shrugged. He didn't know how old Max was, but he was definitely older than him.

Max squinted. "What are you….first year?"

Lloyd nodded quietly. "Yes, but plenty of people don't really know I exist. One time, during roll call, the teacher actually skipped over my name. You probably don't care though, do you? I shouldn't pester you…"

"No! No…its fine…"

Does he care? No, he's probably just being polite. But doesn't everyone talk about how mean Slytherins are? Oh, come on. You of all people don't believe in stereotypes. True… Lloyd's heart pounded. Should I say something? Probably. "S-So, um… what's your name?"

(Fun fact, Lloyd's character was originally an angel, so that's why his name is like, the most angel sounding name ever)
