Xavier took a punch spoon (or whatever its called.) And filled the cups. "I can't wait to see everyone's faces. Just don't let Victoria have any." He placed the cups on trays and handed them to someone to take them out. It was red so it only looked like wine or punch. "Hurry let's go!"

"You ready?" He watched the crowd of people, ready for everyone to spit the drink out. His eyes wandered to Isobel. Nah, she wouldn't fall for it. Though it would be funny if she did. all you could hear was people spitting and mumbling.

Ruby sipped the drink, wondering what on Earth it was. She immediately spit it out, bleching, attracting the attention of a few around her. She looked to Vladimir to assure him all was well, and scanned the crowd, looking for who'd passed it out to her.
Aha! Xavier and Claria!
Suddenly, she burst out laughing, slapping her knees and pointing across the room at them. This was by far the best thing that had happened since she'd arrived at the castle. She loved it.

"No, don't point over here." He mumbled, his hand covering his face. "Now everyone is going to know it was us." He quickly grabbed Claira's hand and moved away from where Ruby was pointing. He was laughing as he did so. "This is the best."

It was only then when a large bang sounded, shaking the ballroom. The walls crumbled slightly but they held. The double doors to the ballroom were broken down, splinters of wood flying everywhere. A group of men, clad in black clothing and swords at the ready. Andion had his ready too and strutted towards the men,

Xavier immediately pushed Claira behind. "Stay behind me." He whispered as he inched towards the throne where he left his sword. He pulled it to his side and took it out. His eyes scanned the room for Victoria. He was hoping someone covering her.

“Mitri…” Andion said, his gaze cold and hard.
“Andion! How nice to see you again.” The guy at the front with two swords said, pointing his sword at Andion and laughing, “What are you doing here?”
“Get. Out.” Andion spat, taking a step forward, his sword raised.
“Ah, not until, I have Victoria.” Mitri said.
“Get. out!” He said a little louder.

"What seems to be the problem here?" Victoria asked calmly, walking up to Andion.

“You’re Highness!” Mitri mock bowed, “I need you to come with us.”
“Not a chance.” Andion spat, “Victoria, stay back.”
“Come on, Andi! I thought we were friends.”
“We haven’t been friends for a long time.” Andion replied, “You’re not taking her.”

"And why would you wish to take me?" Victoria asked.

“Well, I know some people who would pay handsomely for your head.” Mitri replied, grinning

Elliot stood close behind Victoria
