Kate was restocking shelves when the customer came in. She gave a friendly wave, but didn't pay much attention to them otherwise.

The costomer came back up to the counter with 2 cases of beer and ice and set them on the counter, "Cashhh" he slurred while holding out a fifty. Mia took the fifty and looked at him carefully, "Party?" she asked, looking at the change count on the register, "NONE OF YOUR BUiSNESS" he yelled, taking a swat at Mia

Kate walked up to the customer. "Listen, we'll need to see an ID, sir, before we sell you this. And it might be better if you went home and got some rest rather than get even more intoxicated as it is." she said.

Mia blushed and mouthed thank you to Kate

Kate winked, hoping that the issue could be resolved without any strife.

"Uh…" he mumbled, leaving the stuff at the counter and sprinting out the door

"Well, that was anticlimactic." Kate said.

"Sure was" Mia replied, picking up the beers and putting them back in the freezer

Kate shrugged and went back to restocking shelves.

"That's the 3rd one this week…" she called from the freezer

"I know!" Kate said. "Actually, can I ask you a question?"

"Ask away" she replied, walking back to the counter

"Well, my brother's throwing a party and I was wondering if you would like to come." Kate said. "He did say I could bring a friend, after all."

"Well, what type of party?" she asked, lifting herself up onto the counter

"Just…. a party."

"Okay, I'm in" she smiled. "When is it?" she asked

"7:30 this evening, probably going to last until midnight. My brother likes long parties. It's not formal, but you should probably wear something nice, like a dress. I dunno." Kate shrugged.

"Okay, should we hangout after work so you can drive me there?" she asked, "And you could help me pick out an outift" she added, letting her legs dangle off the counter

"Hell yas!" Kate said, a little bit too quickly .

"Okie. Well according to the schedule we get off at the same time today, so could meet you at my house, it's 13 freerun cresent, at 5:30?" she asked

"Totally. Yes. Good. Yes." Kate said.

"Okay, Only 30 more minutes of work then!" she replied.

"Alright, Do you need me to write down my adress for you?" she purred, taking her purse off the hook and putting it on

"Nah, I remember your address." Kate said.

"Okay" she replied, "See you then." she smiled
