"M-Mariko." she stopped, her eyes wide, "Are y-you marked as well?"
Creativity is a crime rp, anyone?
"Marked? You mean like tallies?" This girl, Mariko, had tallies! Micah knew he could trust her. For once, he had good instincts. "Well, not yet. I've been careful."
"You have green-tipped hair." Mariko touched his hair and liked how soft it was. "You have soft hair as well."
"Oh…thanks." How was he supposed to respond to that? Micah smiled nervously. "Listen, I'm trying to find my friends. A girl and a boy."
"O-okay. I haven't see them. So." Mariko shivered, "I g-guess this is goodbye."
Phoebe grinned. “That’s pretty cool—“ Suddenly, she caught a glimpse of Micah and a girl on the street below. Picking up a pebble, she tossed it at him to get his attention.
Woah. This conversation went from awkward to creepy too fast. "Don't worry, I won't. You can't tell anyone about me either." Micah pointed to Mariko's hand. "That's really cool. Who made it?"
Micah didn’t notice, so Phoebe threw another pebble.
"I was a science experiment f-funded by the g-government after I was severely mutilated in a car crash." that sentence always made people look at Mariko like she was crazy. She smiled a bit, waiting for Micah's reaction.

(don't worry I'll pay attention)
"Oh. That's actually-" A pebble flew by his head. "What the-" Micah looked up from where the pebble had come from. "Phoebe?!" He yelled up at the figure on the roof.
"Phoebe?" Mariko looked up. "Damn. I should probably go, my grandfather that deals in illegal disguises for marked people is waiting."
Phoebe put a finger to her lips. He’s gonna get us killed if he keeps yelling like that. She waved him over, ducking down afterwards so that she couldn’t be seen by anyone else on the street.
Micah turned to her. "Wait, really? I might, or rather Phoebe might, be able to use that to her advantage."
"My grandfather doesn't like people. He's been trying to sue the government for what they did to me." Mariko sighed, "Your friends can come with me, but it'll look suspicious if a bunch of crazy-looking people were walking together on the streets."
Phoebe was getting impatient. Where was Micah?
"That's true…" He saw Phoebe wave to him. Was she…asking for him to come up there? Micah couldn't really tell. He turned back to Mariko. "I have to go up to talk to Phoebe, and maybe Marco if he's up there. You can come if you want."
Mariko shook her head.
Micah shrugged. "Suit yourself. I'll…see you around." He waved goodbye and made his way up to Phoebe, slowly but surely.
Marco stood up and walked to the center of the rooftop.
Phoebe reached down a hand to help Micah up, breathing a sigh of relief. “Who’s that? Are you kkay?”, she asked, indicating to the girl in the street.
"That's Mariko." Micah smiled. "And I'm fine. She has tallies." He turned and saw Marco standing behind Phoebe.
Phoebe nodded, satisfied. “Good. Did anyone follow you? Where are Victoria and Amber?”
Micah shrugged. "I told them to follow me, but I think they might have lost me on the way." This was the first time he had taken time to think about where they might be. "I don't even know if they even left the school."
Marco nodded in Micah's direction as if saying, sup.
Phoebe swore under her breath. “And the girl, Mariko? Is she on the run?”
(how should my character come into the story?)
Micah smiled awkwardly back at Marco before answering Phoebe. "I think she is. She seemed in a hurry when she ran into me."
Marco looked down to see Mariko just standing in one spot. He turned back to Phoebe, "looks like it."
