Marco puts his arm around Phoebe and whispers, "not kidding. I've been a garbage man. A serial killer, wow. That was fun. A student… The list goes on. You have to change yourself when you're on the run."

Micah gasped for air as he was released from the darkness. His ankle was still burning and his ears ringing with the squealing sound. He felt tears stinging the corners of his eyes. Micah reached up a shaking arm and wiped his eyes. Whoever these people are that are keeping me in…they can't know how I feel I need to keep a straight face… He sat up straight, his back aligned with the wall.

Phoebe shivered underneath his arm ever so slightly. Just then, an elderly lady walking down the street said. "He your boyfriend, honey?" Phoebe's mind short-circuited for a second, before she put on an easygoing, sweet smile and leaning into Marco, replying: "Yes, ma'am." in a surprisingly convincing tone of voice.
Victoria was worried out of her mind. The images of her brothers life replaying in her head (Her brothers talent was able to transmit his memories, which is what he did to Victoria right before he died. He transmitted all of his life even the second he died). She couldn't shake the feeling of guilt for not going to help her friends but she knew amber was right. She had to be there to rescue them if they got into trouble. And now that she knows they are, she and amber have to make a plan.
Marco smiled at the woman. "Good afternoon, ma'am." He nodded in her direction.
