Marco got up and walked back inside. When the doors opened he saw Phoebe look up at him for a brief second, then put her head back down.
Phoebe pointedly ignored Marco, studying every detail of the picture.
Mariko crossed her arms and looked at the floor, counting how many seconds it would take to cool her system down. "I have a goal in life. I'm not going to stop trying to achieve that goal."

Damn, I left my stuff underneath Phoebe's bed. Now I have to go over to her. Marco got up and walked slowly over to the bed that Phoebe was sitting on. He knelt down and grabbed his clothes.
Phoebe scooted over to give him some space. “You know, we can’t ignore each other forever.”, she said to him, clenching her fists.
Mariko stared at Micah's hair, not able to respond to what he said.
Marco looked up his hand was still underneath the bed. , "it's only been five minutes. I didn't plan to ignore you forever."

Her heart broke. She could feel the little mechanical bits that covered it, clanging and shifting to give her heart some room because it was beating too fast. Mari's breathing went shallow and she could almost feel the tears streaming down her face, even though she couldn't cry.
"I'm sorry," Marco said, not really meaning it. "I can't stay mad at you forever." At least that was true.

Micah felt tears forming in his own eyes. "I…" He closed his eyes, looking at the ground. "Just leave if you want." He held out his arm, pointing at the exit. "Don't bother saying goodbye."
Phoebe nodded, sensing that the first but wasn’t entirely true. “Would you mind reiterating why you were made at me in the first place?”
Mariko wanted to stay. She really had. But Micah's words hit her in the gut and she started towards the exit, closing her eyes and waiting for her system to cool down.
Marco shrugged, "I wasn't mad. I was just… confused, sad, lost, and worried. I guess all those emotions made me look mad?"
