“Being affectionate. Or trying, at least,” Vos chuckled between kisses

Mikhail chuckled again, still blushing slightly. "Okay then?" He replied.

"What? Am I doing something wrong?" Vos asked, pressing a last kiss to the side of Mikhail's neck before he pulled his head back a bit

"What? Nonono, I was just curious," Mikhail answered, still blushing a bit.

"Okay. Well, we should probably go eat. Dinner's getting cold," Vos murmured

"Okay then, let's go eat," Mikhail muttered, smiling at Vos before heading inside.

Vos followed after him, a soft smile on his face. Now that he thought about it, he couldn't remember the last time he had smiled this much

Mikhail glanced back and saw Vos smile, making a small smile appear on his face. He was glad he was able to make Vos smile so much.

Vos went into the kitchen, grabbing two plates for the two of them before setting them on the table. He then sat down and helped himself to a steak and some potatoes

Mikhail sat down in front of Vos and helped himself to a steak and some potatoes. "Thanks for helping me cook," He said, smiling softly at Vos.

"Of course," Vos answered with a soft smile. He finished setting his food on his plate before taking a fork and knife

Mikhail also took a fork and knife and cut out a small piece of the steak, taking a small bite of the steak. "How are you so good at cooking?" He asked.

"Many, many years of practice," Vos answered with a small smile. Though he had once been a king and had his meals prepared for him, he had learned to cook long before then

"Makes sense," Mikhail replied. "Wait, why are you in the mortal world when you should be wherever you're supposed to be?" He asked.

Vos let out a slow sigh at that. “It is a long story, one I would not exactly like to discuss over dinner,” he said as he looked off to the side

Mikhail put his hands up. "I get it, you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to," He replied.

“Thank you for understanding,” Vos said after a moment. He really wasn’t a fan of talking about his past, and preferred avoiding the subject altogether

Mikhail smiled softly. "You're welcome," He replied, moving some hair out of his face.

Vos smiled a bit at that, and in response he leaned forward to press a kiss to Mikhail’s cheek

Mikhail blushed slightly and returned the kiss by kissing his lips.

Vos smiled a bit and held the kiss for a moment before breaking away. "You know, you're adorable when your face gets all red like that," he hummed

"Thanks? And why do you keep saying that so much?" Mikhail asked, tilting his head slightly to the right in confusion.

"Because I find you in general adorable. I just feel the need to voice which parts of you I find particularly noteworthy," Vos answered with a small smile

Mikhail blushed a bit more. "Okay then," He replied, a small smile on his face.

Vos returned the smile before returning to his food. He took a few bites before looking up again. “The potatoes are very good,” he complimented

Mikhail did the same and returned to his food, taking a few bites. He glanced up when he heard Vos talk. "Oh, thanks," He replied, smiling at Vos.

“You’re welcome,” Vos hummed before taking a couple more bites of food

Mikhail took a couple more bites of food. How did I end up in a relationship with a king…?
