"I let them go," Chrysa told her, "I gave them a calling card and let them leave."

Elide nodded slightly and ran her hands over the cuts on her arm. "How long until I can fight again?"

"Probably a month or two," Chrysa told her. She shook her head, "Unless we can get our hands on someone with healing magic."

"Healing magic. . . I could use some of that stuff right now." Elide replied, sighing softly.

Chrysa sighed also, "Couldn't we all."

"Yeah," Elide nodded, trying to sit up, but it resulted in a sharp pain in her shoulder. "Any other news?"

"They're fine. And I would love it if you spoke a little more nicely." Elide replied calmly, a smirk playing on her lips. "What I did earlier was called saving your life, sweetheart. I could have left you there to bleed out."

"You're difficult. And, I don't have the energy to deal with you." Elide let out an exasperated sigh as her shoulder throbbed.

"I'm not sorry for stabbing your legs repeatedly either." Elide muttered, shaking her head slightly.

Arya snarls but stands, limping heavily toward the entrance f the tent

"Where are you going?" Elide demanded, pushing herself up and walking after Arya. "You're hurt."

"I'm asking you not to leave for your own health," Chrysa explained, "You wouldn't make it to the border in your condition."

"I'm going back for her, Max." Mira chuckled. "Although she should be able to handle herself at her age." She shrugged. "She was wounded fairly bad after what I saw when we ran."
