"Nothing important."
Jace giggled. "I know what it is."

(oh, lol)

"What is it, Jace? Since your father seems to claim it's nothing important." Seth asks, looking at the child.

Jace smiled. "He has a-"
"JACE shut it!"

"Has a what?" Seth looks at Zackary curiously.

Zackary shifted around. "Nothing important."

"Uh huh, and I don't have a giant scar on my chest. Go on." Seth says, watching the other.

"It's nothing. Also, that's just a scab. If not, healed."

"It's still gonna scar. If you keep saying nothing, I'm gonna pester you about it. Now I'm even more intrigued."

"It's nothing important, Seth."
Jace's eyes widened. "Did I not do a good job in fixing Mr. Demon Daddy?"

Seth smiles, "Yes, you healed me very well." He says, chuckling. "Seriously Zackary. relationships need trust…" He says softly.

Zackary sighed. "It's not a matter of trust, it's a matter of if you'll laugh at me or not."

"I won't laugh." Seth promises gently.

Zackary sighed and propped himself up on an elbow. He pulled out a teddy bear. It was a fluffy brown, with green button eyes. It was the size of a female forearm, fluffy and worn.

Seth 'awws' and smiles, "It's cute."

Zackary sighed and put it back under his pillow. He laid his head back down. "People always say that whenever I show them."

"I like it." He says softly, kissing Zackary's cheek.

Zackary grunted. "I'm going back to sleep. Stay up here if you want."

"I'll stay." he says, humming a little.

"Alright, your choice." Zackary relaxed into the bed again.

He smiles and relaxes as well.

Jace giggled and wiggled off of the bed. "I'm gonna go in my room."
"To fantasize about snakes?"
"Yeah…" Jace smiled wider and bounded out of the room.

Seth chuckles softly and hums, snuggling against Zackary.

Zackary moved up against Seth, his eyes half-closed. "Feeling better?"

'"Much." he replies, smiling a little.

"Good." Zackary grabbed Seth's hand.

Seth squeezes his hand gently. "Love you." he mutters.

"Love you too," Zackary mumbled back.
