Nathan lazed on his bed, embracing the calming silence the small room provided.

(I saw this yesterday but didn't want to be too active on it cuz i felt bad, but i guess i'll go.)

Aduxtel skulked in his room, grumpily moving his stuff from his moving boxes into dressers or otherwise on the floor. These assholes were always moving the demons around, but never, OH NEVER the humans. Aduxtel scowled at one of his shirts and folded it.

Joque had been in training for weeks and just got out. Hes on his own now. was dad and grandpa this scared? I shouldn’t be scared I’m a man. I’m not scared he thought taking his things to his new room.

Matthew sighed and walked back to his room, when he found a boy taking boxes to what would most likely be his room, “Hey, need any help?”

Joque stood up and turned to the voice. “Uh sure if you want to” he said, picking up one of the last boxes.

“What’s your name?” Matthew asked, picking up a box.

“Joque. Yours?” He says walking towards his room.

“Matthew. A-are you human or not?” He asked, “Sorry if that’s rude.”

“Demon.” He says casually, leaning on the door he propped open, so he didn’t have to screw with the boxes and the door, and opened it so Matthew could get inside with the box.

“Cool.” Matthew said, walking into the room and placing the boxes down in one corner.

“You?” He asked, setting his own box down and opening the door again for Matthew.

“Human.” He said, walking out and grabbing another box.

Joque follows Matthew out and picks up the last two boxes and walks towards his room.

Aduxtus lifted up the last box, tripped over an article of clothing on the ground, then fell with a thump.
"Dammit!" He yelled as he grabbed his throbbing kneecap.

“Can I say, I’m suprised you haven’t tried to kill me yet.” Matthew said, bringing in the last box before hearing a yelp of pain and walking out, “Hey, you okay?”

Aduxtus glanced over his shoulder. "Yeah," He growled back through gritted teeth, "fine."

“Why would I-“ He starts, getting cut off. He follows and peeks out. “You alright?”

“Okay, if you say so.” Matthew said to the guy on the ground

“Do you need some help?” He asks, stepping farther out of his room.

Aduxtus rose carefully and collected his clothes. "No, I don't," He frostily replied and straightened up a little. "I'm actually almost done."

Matthew gave a one shouldered shrug then sent a flash of pain through his upper body. He winced slightly, “If you’re sure.”

"Quite positive." He gritted his teeth harder as he put his weight on his kneecap.

“Uh okay then.” Joque said turning back into his room.
