Dungeons and Dragons Style RP (CLOSED BUT FEEL FREE TO STALK)

(Yeah I already have a character but I don't need to use her here bc I'm the DM)

(well we should probably wait a bit longer for the others just in case )

(Yeah, I mean, I can go ahead and post the starter bc everyone gets an action so we'd be waiting anyway)

(4 characters are up at the moment)

(in that case we now have 2 characters and the DM, so just 2 to go)

(i'm so excited for this! it's been an year since I had to stop playing D&D and i've missed it so much. Finally get a chance to play it again!! :) )

You wake up in a tavern with no memory of the night before. The tavernkeeper tells you that you have been here all night. There are several unconscious commoners on the floor and at the bar, most holding tankards of beer.

(Can we start the actions?)

(Yes. Simple actions don't require checks, so keep that in mind. I.e, pushing a button, talking, pulling a lever, opening an unlocked door, etc)

I ask the tavernkeeper if anything abnormal or suspicious happened last night

"No, lass. You four came in, not sure from where, and drank yourselves into unconsciousness. You've been here all night." The tavernkeeper flips a gold piece in his hand.

I listen in to the conversation.

"We spoke to no one other than each other?"

"Not that I know of. Ye may have spoken to any of these lads," He gestured towards the unconscious men on the floor,"but if ye did, I'm not sure what about."

I assess the men lying on the floor to see if any of them are awake

One of the men wakes up, groaning. "Now, who are ye, lass?"

"Just curious about what happened last night that's all, you remember anything?"

"Dunno, we were all drunk. I remember ye came in with a lad and two more lasses, and ordered drinks. Said you came from that forest over there." The man pointed pointed in the direction of the Shadewoods.

I turn to Lia and ask, "You remember anything by any chance?

I shake my head, "Nothing. Absolutely nothing."

(wait What should we do about the characters of the other two?)
"Should we return to this Shadowwoods?"

(Wait for them I suppose)

(Yeah.)

(Ok but can we still continue asking for more info or should we just wait before doing anything else?)

(Up to you. Keep in mind, the NPC's can only know a certain amount, and they were all drunk so.. lol)

(haha yeah everybody really emptied all the drinks last night it seems)
I ask the travenkeeper, "What can you tell us about these woods?"
