Gang names: Denims, Serpents and Enigmas

Four children are survivors in the midst of gang battle grounds, hunted by gang members for information about the Enigmas, which they were unfortunately caught eavesdropping on. The Denims and Serpents want an advantage, and the Enigmas want them captured—dead or alive. This rp is basically what life is like for them, and will determine whether they’re caught or not.

-Cussing is fine with me, but don’t overkill because some of us have to read that.
-Please ask before joining!
-I would ask that you control at least one gang member from one of the three, although a template for those characters are not required. In other words, the template is only required for the children characters.

Name: Sam (Sammy) McKinley
Age (Must be between 12-17): Fourteen
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Biromantic
Backstory: He wasn't born into the Enigmas. He only ended up there because his parents were killed by Serpents when he was ten, and his uncle, ever the "caring" man, dragged him into Enigma business. The few years he was there were terrifying, but he was protected from the other gangs, at least. That is, until he and some friends accidentally overheard the leader of the Enigma's reveal his identity to another superior.
Personality: Easily frightened, but always talks back when people try to pressure him into doing something he doesn't want to do. He also questions pretty much everything in every scenario possible.
Appearance: Short and scrawny for his age, with sandy hair that always seems to fall into his green eyes and freckles. He usually wears a simple graphic tee with a skull and a jacket with several holes worn into it, along with black shorts that are too big around the waist for him to wear without a belt, which he uses his jacket string for. He also wears beaten up black sneakers, scuffed remarkably at every surface.
Weapons?: A key knife.
Other: He really likes stray cats, although they don't seem to share his love.

Name: Cassandra Sparrow

Backstory: She was orphaned as a child of gang members, raising herself as a street rat until she found a group of kids to run with.
Personality: Cold, rebellious, quiet, acts very confident a cocky, sarcastic, very very sad inside, loyal, actually loves easily but is scared of loosing people/getting left behind
Appearance: Short, curly auburn hair in a boy-ish cut, fair skin, blue eyes, scars from past fights. Wears a button down with a small kerchief around her neck, cuffed jeans, boots, and a long trench coat. (Basically, a 50s teddy girl look)
Weapons?: A small dagger-like knife in her pocket for close, strategic fights and a crowbar for anything that needs a bit of chaos
Other: Loves old rock music

I love her! Especially with the false sort of pretense with a softer interior—those characters are my jam lol.

Name: Corrin Jett London
Age: 17

Sexuality: Dyke
Backstory: Ran away from home from a very young age because her brother would try to sexually assault her and no one would believe her. Since then she's been living with Blake and her adopted sister Rae, among others like Aster and Aldis, though she left them shortly after Blake committed suicide- it really shook Corrin to the core, she wandered aimlessly not knowing what to do with herself until she found some other kids to hang out with.
Personality: Acts closely to her best friend Blake and their small gang of friends. She comes off as tough and mostly uncaring, she's very impulsive and rarely respects anyone's personal space, pissing people off most of the time. She's lazy as all hell and energetically loud when she talks. Even though her bad qualities overpower her good ones, she can still be very sweet. She personally melts when she sees small stray puppies. Corrin is a very hardworking individual though she can be rude at people for no reason when she's having a bad day. Most of her bad qualities come from Blake and her bad influence on Corrin, also because of Blake Corrin is very sensitive and can't handle emotions well, often crying at random times when 'her heart feels heavy' as she likes to put it. She's one of those people who easily get into toxic relationships.

Other: Alternative Indie is her shit, she also likes fire- not because she's a pyromaniac or anything but because she likes the warmth it radiates since she never had that from anyone else except from Blake who is now dead, so in short, it mesmerizes her.

Name: Denver Kaaro
Age (Must be between 12-17): 15
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Asexual Panromantic
Backstory: Ran away from an abusive household when he was 10. Ending up in the Enigmas because he figured his family would be less likely to find him there.
Personality: Crazy party-hard kinda guy. He acts like he doesn't care but he really does and gets emotionally attached to people really quickly. He will die for his friends. Is reluctant to ask for help. Comes off as feminine at times.
Appearance: Raven black hair that always looks like he just got out of bed. Vivid blue-green eyes. Usually wears black singlet or shirt with over sized aviators jacket, ripped black jeans and boots. Extremely pale, abnormally so. Scars from when he was younger and from fights. Most visible one on his jawline.
Weapons?: Guns if he can get his hands on them, pretty handy with a knife though
Other: Loves cats, has amazing aim and accuracy

(Awesome! Yeah sorry about bugging. I just finished exams and have barely anything to do in school.)

Sammy panted, leaning against the inside of the dumpster as he sifted through the mess for something edible. The shirt he had pulled over his nose wasn't doing nearly as well as he'd hoped at blocking the smell, but it didn't matter. The food he'd found was worth it, even if it looked rather unappetizing at the moment. On the ground was a black, ragged-looking jacket with two mostly-eaten burgers from a popular fast food joint resting on it, as well as a carton of three mouldy muffins and a chicken leg that had been mostly consumed by someone else. Sammy thought that, with some work—cutting the bits of mold off, rinsing with some water and double checking for anything he was allergic to—he might even be full. If he decided to eat it all at once, that is. He still hadn't made up his mind concerning whether or not he'd ration it. He finally hopped out of the dumpster, looking at the exposed skin of his calves and forearms with disgust as there were bits of trash sticking to him. He quickly grabbed his jacket, using it as a sack to transport the food, and began sneaking back to his hiding place, keeping an eye out and a hand in his pocket since he was in Serpent territory.

Corrin walked into a small shop by a gasoline station. It had been a while since Corrin had anything to eat or drink, but she wasn't exactly there for the food- just for a jacket or blanket and probably some alcoholic drinks. She knew very well that she would get in trouble big time if she was caught stealing anything, but death seemed pleasing for her at this point.
Corrin looked around casually, mentally making note of the things she was going to grab before she made a run for it. She quickly slipped in some beef jerky and slim jims into her jacket and went over to the refrigerated section. Corrin skimmed the drinks and picked out two that she liked, then she went to the cashier, gabbing a fluffy blanket along the way.
She stared at the guy with the stuff in hand, he lifted an eyebrow, expecting her to set the things down so he could scan them but then she booked it and ran out, the guy shouting after her.
