"Uh… What?" Ian looked from Amethyst to Akyra, "Look, what's going on?"

"Nothing!" Akyra said, marching back towards the door. "I've just gotta go."
"Hey wait!" Ian trips on his high platform and basically falls head first down it, cursing all the way on every step.
Hearing Ian crash off the platform, Akyra whirls around, concern written all over her face.
"Are you okay?!" she asked going over to him, but hesitating a few feet away.
Ian was playing in a crumpled heap on the foor
Akyra nudged him with her foot.
"Are you okay?" she asked again. "You're not dead, right?"
Ian grabs at her foot but sits up and rubs his butt, "Oww…" He stands and faces the two, "Alright what is really going on here?"
"Nothing!" Akyra laughed awkwardly. "Right, Ames?"
"Um?" Ian looks between the two, "Im still missing something…"

"Mm-hm, sure. It's nothing," Amethyst half-agreed.

"OK Look! Just freaking spit it out already! I mean c'mon!" Ian roars, really getting annoyed now.

Amethyst shrugged.
"It's not my information to tell," she said simply.
"Then whos and what is it?" He snaps
Akyra sighed, "Well, it's mine, and, well… I don't really want to tell."
"Then why-?" Ian cuts himself off, "Look… What is going on." He snaps harshly
Akyra covered her face and groaned.
"I like you, okay? You happy now?"
Ian just blinks and crosses his arms, "And? You think I didnt notice?"

"Wow, harsh," Amethyst declared, having been watching to see how it would play out. "If you don't like her back, just say so. But if you do, then say so."
"Huh?" Ian takes a startled step back, his mind racing.
Akyra sighed for what seemed the millionth time.
"Look, I'll just go. This is obviously really awkward. I'll be in my bunk if anyone needs me."
She turned and walked out of the training room.
Once she was out, her hands again began to shake.
Ian splutters, clearly very confused, What? What did I miss? Did I do something wrong? The frick! Girls are so weird!

Amethyst slowly shook her head as Akyra left, then turned to face Ian again.
"Okay, look. You've just upset my cousin, which is not cool. Now, do you like her back or not? And I'd answer me clearly if I were you because I can have you taken off of nurse duties until I decide that you've earned them back," she declared.
Ian was frankly taken aback, "My fault?! 'I just upset your cousin.'" He mocks, crossing his arms, "If you wanted a straight answer then you should have answered my questions before this all started!"

Akyra pressed her shaking fingers to her temples as she quickly strode away.
Gah, Ames, I know you were - are - trying to help, but you're making it worse.

Ian was frankly taken aback, "My fault?! 'I just upset your cousin.'" He mocks, crossing his arms, "If you wanted a straight answer then you should have answered my questions before this all started!"
"It wasn't my place to say! Unless you mean what I was doing in making sure you were both here at the same time. In which case, yeah, that was all my doing," Amethyst admitted with an indifferent shrug. "So what? What's the big deal? Can't you just tell Akyra if you like her back or not?"
"Well you shouldnt just pop on here and yell 'Hey! Do you like by cousin?!'" He barks

"I didn't! Which you know as well as I do," Amethyst argued. "I let Akyra tell you, and then let you respond. And you still haven't given me an answer."
"Why should I?! What is this?!" He yells

Amethyst shrugged. Whatever. This clearly wasn't going to go any further. Maybe she should just go back to her room and rest for a while.
