Riley cursed as she saw her name up on the list of sacrifices. Her thoughts began to race. How could she get out of this one?
Riley could see no plausible outcome in which she would not be taken as a sacrifice. She didn't have any robot contacts who were high-up enough to get her out of this one. There was only one option then. She would let herself get taken. Maybe she'd be able to avenge her family once she was inside the robot stronghold.
She decided to first knock on the door of the warehouse and tell them they were going to miss the ceremony.
