(How do we wanna go about this? Should the party already know each other and they're walking through the woods like how most DnD campaigns start? I mean, that sounds good to ME, but I don't know about you guys.)
(also what's Eros' role in the party?)
(Since your character is all leader-ish, maybe you could be picking out our characters for an expedition?)
(fair enough. Alright, that sounds good. I'll start.)
A tall, dark-haired Aeryosite paced back and forth in the small glass-walled room. The glass panes were frosted over and coloured, giving the male an ethereal aura of blue light.
His name was Akiron Darestern, son of Adamantium and Rheos Darestern. Tasked with assembling a party for a daunting expedition, Darestern was already wary.
"You, Arazael's daughter. What is your name?"
(i hope that's enough-)

Elizia jumped, partially from the powerful voice that had just interrupted her experiment, and partially from said experiment, a laser diode intensity test, becoming uncalibrated by Elizia’s jump and burning her finger slightly. She quickly switched it off, and stood up, “Sorry sir! Elizia Delphina Arazael, sir,” she relaxed and reorganized her experiment as she held her finger to her lips, “Sorry about that.”
Akiron immediately softened, eyebrows furrowing in concern.
"Are you alright?" He asked, his voice barely above a whisper. He didn't need anyone else to notice that he was taking pity on this girl.
A little louder, he addressed the others.
"You'll do well to pay attention. I like your ambition, kid. You'll be good for this expedition."
(okay so i should clarify: Both I and Akiron are softies and care way too much about people)
Elizia gave him a subtle thumbs up as she continued listening. He had a strong tone, and he wasn’t a bad looking guy, either.
What was his name again? Akizal?
Elizia couldn’t recall.
"My name is Akiron Darestern. You all know why you're here."
He couldn't overlook anyone. Akiron had to be sure of everyone, had to assess as much as possible.
And the thought terrified him.

Mark was scared spite-less at the person he was looking at, but he wasn't showing it.
(I decided to use this reply to expand on Eros's appearance a bit)
Eros looked up from his hands and at Akiron, tapping his foot with impatience. There were just about 20 people in the room, he knew the likelihood of him getting picked for this… expedition, as Akiron had called it. He was waiting to be dismissed so that he could simply leave and not worry about another thing related to the expedition.
He leaned against the wall, one foot planted against it. The heavy, black combat boot hitting the wall with a thud. He quickly adjusted his black, fingerless gloves and dusted his exposed thighs lightly.
He met Akiron's gaze with a metal-fanged smile. "It's a pleasure to meet Akiron. But can I leave now? I've got nothin' for you." He shrugged lightly, pulling a messy, burgundy braid over his shoulder from behind his back. "Anyone can do the things I do, so I'm nothing special."
Name: Lennox Cassian
Age: 18
Gender: Male (Straight)
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 173lbs
Hair Color: Platinum blonde; almost white. Pulled back into a very short, loose, messy ponytail
Eye Color: Heterochromia; one blue eye, one brown eye
Skin Color (Optional): Fair
Personality: Undetermined MBTI (presumably INxx) Generally quiet and stoic. Hates being told what to do, but has high respect for those who can earn it. Hard outside, soft inside.
Technological Additions (Optional): He has been enhanced technologically to be able to absorb, transfer, and manipulate electrical currents to an extent. He is mostly immune to any electrical shock, though high voltages still may cause him damage or send him into cardiac arrest. He is able to absorb energy from all sources around him (and, as electricity is in everything, he is never without); however, in order for him to transfer large shocks at once, he requires a greater power source.

(Ah, also, does anyone have a recommendation on how exactly I should begin? Not to be that guy who doesn't know what they're doing, because I'll do just fine once I get the initial post down. Are there any particular things, aside from what I read in the initial blurb upon signing up, that I should be aware of? Apologies. Thank you all for your patience. ^-^)

Akiron turned towards Eros, his glowing gaze falling upon the impatient male with unmatched severity. Pink lips quirked up to the left side of his face in a subtle, challenging smirk.
"All the more reason you'll be joining us."
He appraised the other for a brief moment before turning back to the rest of the group.
