"Imma comin', I'm a comin'!" Caleb laughed, getting out of his car and heading up to the front door, hanging up the phone and knocking before opening the door and peeking in. "Briar~"
Briar sqeauled. Launching herself at caleb
Caleb stumbled a bit, surprised, but quickly wrapped her up in his arms, nuzzling his face into her hair, breathing her scent in. "Oh, I missed you…." He then swung her up into his arms and headed for the living room, so they could snuggle on the couch.
" I'm so happy your here" she said
Caleb smiled. "As am I." He sat down with her on his lap before nuzzling her some more as he asked, "Are you excited?"
She nodded " if your not there on delivery and I'll kill you" she said
Caleb raised a hand as though taking an oath. "I swear upon my life, only the most dire thing, aka: death, could keep me away from the hospital when you go into labor." He grinned.
She smiled " I've missed you" she said
Caleb nuzzled into her neck, breathing in her scent. "As did I…"
She smiled kissinng his ear lobe
Caleb smiled as he ran his fingers through her hair. "I love your kisses… Do you think the baby'll be a boy or a girl?"
" A boy" she said
Caleb hummed. "Mm… A baby brother for Lizzie." He grinned. "A son all my own. Think Lizzie will be happy?"
" maybe " she said
Caleb chewed the inside of his cheek. "Should we wait to tell her?"
"I was waiting to tell her together you know if you didn't leave me" she said
Caleb sighed, "Did you really think I'd leave…?" he asked sadly.
" I did… I'm going to expect anything less from you I deserve to be left" she said her eyes glossing over
Caleb gripped Briar tightly and cuddled her close. "Absolutely not. You don't deserve that. Why on earth do you think that??"
"because that's what I did to you even if your dad told me to not to tell you" sh said
Caleb scowled a bit before smoothing his face. "Yeah, well my dad's a bitch, and he shouldn't have done that. I would have loved to raise Lizzie with you and he took that away from me." He kissed her cheek lovingly. "I just hope I'll be a good daddy…"

Caleb nuzzled her some more. "I wouldn't promise, but maybe you can help me…"

Caleb smiled. "Good. Maybe I'll come live here during the last trimester so you can relax."
"how are we going to do this how are you going to help me raise a kid" she said
Caleb's face got worried and he started to chew his lip. "I d-don't know what you're comfortable with so I thought I'd let you decide how I'm going to be a part of their life."
