As the late bell rings, Kai runs into class taking a seat next his best friend, Leon. He quickly pulls out his textbook placing it on his desk right before the teacher turns around.
Leon was playing around with his pencil when Kai sat down next to him and he smiled at Kai then tried to focus on his textbook which wasn't easy because he has ADHD.
Kai smiled back thinking about how hot Leon was today, but he quickly pushed those thoughts away because he was starting to blush.
Leon kept trying to focus on the textbook but his mind kept wandering to random things. Damn it, focus, focus. He started playing around with his pencil in one hand to keep himself occupied and tried to focus on the textbook again.
Kai was trying to focus on the textbook before him, but he couldn't stop staring at Leon. The way Leon was playing with his pencil just made him look even cuter than he already was. Stop staring, Kai. He will notice you staring soon. Yet Kai couldn't pull away his gaze.
Leon kept playing around with his pencil while trying to focus on the textbook, it somehow worked this time so he kept reading the textbook while listening to the teacher.
Kai started staring down at his textbook taping his foot trying to distract himself from any and every thought about Leon. When the teacher suddenly spoke up. "Class I have a project and I would like for you to pair up with the person next to you."
Leon glanced at the teacher then glanced at Kai. "So do you think you won't be distracted again?" He said with a slight laugh.
"Ya" Kai pushed out a forced laugh knowing that Leon thought he was distracted for other reason, instead of him being the distraction. Working with Leon worried him because, he would probably get distracted again. "So you ready to get to work?"
"Yep!" Leon smiled at Kai then took out the stuff he needed for the project.
They were only a few minutes into the project but Kai was already distracted, he could tell Leon was trying to ask him something but his body wouldn't let him respond.
"Hellooooooo, are you here?" He asked, waving his hands in front of Kai's face, trying to get his attention.
"Yes, I'm here." He responded when his body finally let him respond.
"Okay then, can you answer my question?" He asked, continuing to work on the project.
"Um, what question?" Kai said looking down at his lap tilting his head so that his face was hidden by his hair.
"How should we meet up over the weekend to complete the project and who's house are we going to meet up at?" He asked, quickly working on the project since class was about to end soon.
Kai loved the idea of being at Leon's house and working in his room but he knew he would get majorly distracted there. "You can come to my house." And before he could filter he blurted out. "You could come today and sleep over, since its Friday." He winced knowing Leon would jump at that opportunity knowing he would have to deal with the consequences.
