So this description is going to be all over the place because I'm writing it stream of thought lol.

So my idea is an American kid goes to France on a trip with his class, and runs into a French boy there. And they start hanging out in their free time and falling for each other and stuff. And I want time travel, caused by the French boy because…just because it would be amazing. And yeah. Idk. Basically I want a French Romance through Time. I will be the American boy. Age range is 20-22, college age.

Charlie looked around. It was free time now, they were off for the evening, and he was going to explore. Armed with his cellphone, he started walking, humming Les Mis as he went. He couldn't help it. This was France, and he was a theater nerd. Of course he was humming Les Mis.

Reese walked out of the cafe with his half finished coffee. He had decided to spend the day at the Riverside cafe, people watching until his boss told him that his paycheck was ready, so here he was, running to the building with a now warm coffee and a newspaper.

Charlie was too busy looking around to notice when he was going, and accidentally slammed into someone, stumbling backwards. "I'm so sorry!" He blurted, looking at the person, who held a coffee cup and a newspaper. "I uhm…I wasn't watching where I was going. I'm sorry."

Reese cursed in french and glared at the young man who had made his paper wet with the brown liquid. "Regarde où tu vas!" He groaned trying to shake out the liquid.

Charlie jumped. "Ah…Mes excuses?" He said slowly, with an American accent. He barely had a passable grip of the language. He understood it better than he spoke it, to be truthful. Which wasn't the best thing. Especially not now, as he peered up at this giant of a person.

Reese sighed. "American?" He asked in a short tone of voice. It was bad enough that he spilled coffee on his newspaper whole running to get his weeks pay, now he was dealing with an American.

Charlie ducked his head in a nod, turning red. "Yeah. Sorry." he said, looking down at his toes. Fuck. I didn't mean to do that. I was just exploring. We're going to be here for a month, true, but…I want to see as much as possible. This might be my only chance to travel to another country.

"Are you a tourist or wiz a class?" He asked, an accent could be heard in his words, but it wasn't very prominent.
