I JUST GOT THIS IDEA

A kind of post-apocalyptic world.
The ice caps have melted entirely and the world became one giant ocean. Some freaky crap got woken up from the deep. Now everything has frozen over again. People live on the mountains (or what's left of them) and use ice skates and stuff to get around.
This has a very futuristic vibe to it aesthetic wise.
