Golden Sun//open (4/5)

Based off an older game series with similar mechanics to that of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The world has fallen into chaos, and a group of heroes have been chosen by the Sedjinn–a godlike race of people born from the ancients fusing with the powers of the djinn, magical creatures that represent each of the elements. In the midst of the apocalypse, these four heroes have been chosen to restore power to the Final Lighthouse–a machine born of the ancient's mastery of alchemy and the magic that powers the practice. It won't be easy, and chances are the quest will go off course constantly. But all good journeys are misadventures in disguise, and nothing ever goes as planned. Maybe the end of the world isn't so bad after all..?

Little bit of background info: There are four elements, fire, water, earth, and wind. Each element already has certain spells they can use that correlate to their element (growing plants and moving objects for earth, for example), and spells can be added by collecting djinn–small, cutesy creatures that are the physical embodiment of the planet's psynergy–and adding them. Adepts (basically benders) are rare and born with the ability to use psynergy. Fire adepts do best with fire, earth, and water djinn, water adepts do best with water and air djinn, air adepts do best with air djinn, and earth adepts do best with earth, fire, and air djinn.

Rules: No fighting over slots, please ask if you want to make your character something other than human (in the game the only other magical species are beastmen, which have animal qualities in varying intensities. I'm flexible on species tho since this is supposed to take place post-original games), max four djinn, and be prepared for all kinds of misadventure fuckery.

Looks: Relatively short (about 5'8", which is short for his family since they're all tall), pale skin with a light dusting of freckles on his cheeks, elf-like ears with a softer point, a bit on the thin side, short/fluffy white hair with dark blue-black "highlights" at the ends that's partly swept off to the left and the bangs fall almost partly into his eyes as well as curling around his ears, ivory-colored horns with black -blue tips that are sorta short and curl upwards from behind his ear (so they're curved like…towards the front?), electric blue eyes with almost sparkle-shaped pupils, softer features, a few small black studs in his earlobes, some flower tattoos on his lower waist and hips he had done to help him fight how much he really used to hate his body, cute little fangs, small claws on his hands, both legs amputated below the knee (but with a few illusions and some magic he can create legs that can look like regular legs if he wants)
Outfit (think more medieval mixed with steampunk, if you need inspiration google the Golden Sun Dark Dawn characters): Lowkey looks like a standard magic rpg game, with it being a darker blue trenchcoat of sorts (but like…shorter? it's got a lot of pockets), a high collar, and stripes down the arms that have a circuit pattern, and he has two support rings around his neck/two around his mid back but they're open in the front/two around each lower arm/two around each lower leg (they're silver and magic and help him move his body), black pants, and silver and dark blue boots with larger knee guards and big shoes, along with a small sort of "wings" on the sides and holes in the soles (they're heavy duty to hold pressurized air/ice)
Weapon: Large alchemy gauntlets that utilize similar tech as his boots that form from his elbow down and end in huge claws, as well as having floating cables coming off of them that can be used to ensnare opponents
Personality: A little on the shy side, a bit nervous, really tries his best but often messes up and accidentally says or does things people don't like, embarrassed of his injuries and how weak he is, really wants to make friends but is too afraid to do so, bad with large crowds, a bit absent-minded and has a hard time focusing, possibly ADHD since he's kinda hyper and has an attention span of two seconds
Backstory: To be revealed as we go
Other: Has a sort of "beastform" where he turns into solid moonlight and goes into a temporary "berserk" mode (this leaves him exhausted later and unable to do it twice in one battle, so he usually saves it for the end of difficult fights), acts as a sort of prophet for the team and leads them around on their disastrous misadventure
