Kai set his book aside and picked up some bread, nibbling at it before beginning his meal.

Melissa watched Rowan and the boy -Kai?- talking. She looked around. How would she fit in here? Everyone was so… social.

Rowan looked down at her food and began eating.

I'm so glad that we're in the same House! Melissa signed to Rowan. We get to have classes together and everything!

"So am I!' Rowan signed back.

"Girls on this side, boys on this side, come on!" a prefect directed.

Melissa climbed the stairs and found a room that was empty.

(What should happen? There's supposed to be 5 to a room so… maybe that can just be in Gryffindor and it can be different in Slytherin???)
