Harry Potter [CLOSED]

“I’m also a fifth year.” Skye smiled, “How come I haven’t seen you before?”

He shrugs, "I don't really interact with other people." He looks down nervously.

“Oh,” She said, looking out the window.

The train jolts to life and Xavier checks his watch. Right on time, as usual. He chuckles to himself, humming under his breath.

Skye quietly looked outside the window.

There was silence before he draws his wand and hums focusing as he flicks his wrist, expelling a monarch butterfly. He smiles softly watching as it flutters around it.

Skye looked away from the window and looked at the fluttering butterfly, “Did you make that?”

He nods, "Yeah…" His cheeks a bright red, "I've been practicing. The first time it was accidentally a lizard…" He laughs at that.

“Practice makes perfect.” Skye grinned, “It’s a nice butterfly, and doesn’t have a tail. Good job.”

He smiles at the compliment. "Thanks…" He says softly. Another wave and the butterfly was gone.

Skye looked down, she was searching for conversation starters.

"So… what's your favorite class at Hogwarts?" He asks curiously.

“Charms.”

Xavier nods, "Charms is pretty neat. I have to admit though, I more enjoy Defense Against the Dark Arts." He smiles, "I never knew why I like it, I just do."

“Some things just don’t have a reason.” Skye said.

He smiles at her, nodding slowly. "I guess you're right." He brushes his hair from his face again, ruffling it slightly.

"I try to be," Skye smiles.

Looks: Coppery brown hair, Hazelish eyes with green, blue, brown, and who knows what else swirled in there, His robes are a bit too big, And he has a small, thin build, standing at about 4'3".
Relationships (if any): None yet, but if he gets a relationship, it'd be a friend and not a girlfriend or anything. He doesn't really understand how relationships work lol.
Extra Facts/Information: He absolutely loves animals! Any kind of animal really, and he's completely infatuated with magic. It's just… amazing! That one could simply conjure bubbles out of their wand was the most intriguing thing to him. He's a muggle born, so he has never really seen magic before. Also, he has a cat that he brought to Hogwarts named Lilium, Latin for 'lily'. She's a white cat with long fur that has a few light brown spots on it, and he loves her to bits.)

Nolan tapped his feet anxiously as the train gradually neared Hogwarts. He would be starting his first year, and he was incredibly excited. He stroked Lilium as he watched out the window, waiting for the castle to appear. He occasionally saw older students walking by, performing simple spells, and attempted to do them himself without success. He looked down at his wand, cherry wood with a unicorn hair core. He could scarcely believe that soon, he too would be performing magic with it.

(I'm really chill as far as Slytherin's go. I'm just quiet tbh. The nerd in the corner who wishes she had a time turner like Hermione so I could do FOUR FREAKING EXPLORATORIES cries)

"Yeah, it really is…" Xavier replies to Skye. He hums under his breath, trying to calm himself. Hogwarts was drawing closer. He couldn't wait to be back in those familiar halls, learning magic. He didn't notice that his finger was tapping fervently against his leg.

"Maybe I should go make some friends? What do you think, Lily?" The cat purred and he took it as a yes, standing up and sliding open his compartment door. He knocked on the door opposite, unable to see through the window whether there was even anyone in it.

(Is that compartment the one where Xavier and Skye is in?)
