Jared entered the class late, just as he finished putting concealer over his marks. He didn't want anyone to think he was weird, which he worried about a lot. He needed friends. He sat in the back of the class, slightly hoping he went unnoticed.

Zoe turned to see a new kid walk into their class. hmmm I haven't seen him around, I wonder which group he's in? She thought to herself before the teacher got her attention.

"Can Jared Lyat, Zoe Melana, Zanna Storm, Kaiser Fallowfield, and Alexandria Labelle, please go meet Sargent, Mcclain?"

Zanna stood up a bit worried but nodded, "Yes sir."

Jared stood up unsuredly, following the others out of the class. He hoped he wasn't in trouble already.

Zoe stood up and followed the suit, before she left the classroom and went to the hanger. This was where they wanted us to meet right?

Zanna leaned on her non prosthetic leg. Of course nobody would know why, but everyone knew she favored that leg. She kept messing with her hat. It had never quite fit right on her.

"Where are we going?" Jared asked, trying to be causal, when he was panicking inside. He couldn't get in trouble.

"To the hanger duh." Zoe said casually as they entered the hanger where the sargent was standing, "Hey there rookies." He greeted.

Jared wondered what to do now. Salute? Saluting seemed like a good idea. He clumsily saluted with the wrong hand. "Hello Sargent." He muttered.

Zanna didn't feel a need to salute him, she should but nah. She nodded respectfully though, "Hello Sargent McClain."

Zoe gave a small salute, "Sir." She greeted
"Now tell me, do you all know each other?" He asked and ignored all the salutes.

"Not really sir," Zanna said about the others. She kept to herself, always had.

He nodded, "Hmm, well lucky for you kids, you all have been assigned to a special division due to our." He paused. "disappearance. You will be known as the MFT3 fighters, understood?"

Jared nodded. "Yessir."

"Understood," Zanna said nodding before adding on, "Sir."
