Hidden World RP
Create a character and jump on it! It could be a human with ancestry and an ability to see the double, or some kind of creature from the double Stay to you characters (original character) POV! and have fun! Swearing is fine, no elelix stuff though. A shapeshifter cannot change 1 thing about themselves at all times, and cannot change size unless they change species. Just follow most of my layout when you make your character.

"Done," I say halfheartedly as I walk through the back door of a tavern. I had just finished my third job shift that night and was walking down a darkened street. The houses looked nice, I guess, but the street light had been blown. A bad feeling settled over Jane Road, sinking into my gut. Just find the powerpoint, I repeated to myself, it's easy.

"Hello?" I called nervously. I hated walking at night. The city was bad for a double with wings, even when I hide them under a jacket. I was three blocks from the nearest point, nothing could really go wrong. I tried to reason.

"And you are?" Said a friendly voice.
"Uh," I stuttered, "I'm Joan, can you come out so I'm not so nervous?" My wings ached to springout, never a good sign.
I scanned Lady's Avenue again, finding nothing different then before.
"Yeah, no problem," Kars said as he stepped from the shadows.
"You called?"

Looks: Caramel brown hair in a ponytail, large chunk falls as a wavy bang. Prefers to wear a sweatshirt most days with leggings but doesn't mind a change every now and then.
Skills: Archer and pretty good with "the creatures"
I jumped back, "How-I didn't- Are you-?- Huh?" I couldn't get it all out in one breath. What I meant to say was, "How could you hide so well in plain sight?" but, it didn't really come out right. I scanned again, this time behind me, and took a good step back.
"I wasn't even attempting frankly."
"Well then…" I started flustered. I tried to act civil, putting my hands in front of me like I've seen others done. "Who are you?" I took another step back, just incase.
"My name is Kars, you needed to find a connection point?"
Amelia jumped into the double and stumbled a bit. She heard some voices and removed her bow from across her shoulder. Bow knocked, she walked towards the sound "Hello?"
"Yeah… But I know where one is!" I sounded like a kid, trying to prove they were adult. Damn it! I had no reason to be so foolish. I didn't even know him!
I turned around again, thinking I heard someone talk. Must be the wind blowing around.
"Suit yourself, call if you need me." Hesasid, walking into the shadows.
Amelia's keen ears started to pick up the conversation as she got closer. Something about a connection point… She could help with that if it was someone she could trust in the real world. She popped out of the bushes. "SHOW YOURSELVES" A bit too strong perhaps? She thought to herself.
"Wait!" Stupid. "I do- need your help, I mean. But, nothing comes free, what do you want?"
I "folded" myself into a man who could cause fear. Only to drain out from my hard day, and switch back.

Karmate opened her eyes as she woke up in Limbo, feeling the familiar pull of a connection point. Walking through the shadows, letting the darkness embrace her, she watched the proceeding warily, covering her aura.
"Wait! Kars! Are you still here! Please help…" I said shyly, hating it.
Karmate wonders if he should make the joke. Deciding yes, they walk out of the shadows in front of the girl. Giving a mock bow, they murmur a low, "You called?"
