@Katyanna HJ I like that character… Baron, when he gets older, is a big smoker too, and smokes an inhuman amount of packs due to the fact that it won't affect him.
Well then our characters already have some base for some kind of relationship/friendship?
Zoey was just glad that class was over, she was very interested in that new boy Baron, He seemed not to notice her at all, but slowly throughout the class, she'd been reaching out with her mind and slowly seeping into his mind and learned about all that he could sense. It was interesting, even more so when she learnt of his sensitivity to his surroundings, yet he couldn't feel her within his mind. Boy was he something different. She watched Wendy go off to her next class but leaned against the door frame to try and catch Baron as he left. Not to mention she was trying to figure out why the demon had raced to the girls bathroom carrying a mermaid? What was the problem exactly? Non of them were human, so why not take pride in what you are. As the thought finished, Baron emerged from out the door.
"Wanna skip next period?" She asked arching her eyebrow.
Cade had left Orion with Vega, and was walking back to get his stuff.
(gotta go, ill be back in seven hours, Baron, if you say yes just say that my character lead to the back of the school and Pulls and a cig and lights it, shes asks you questions, you can make them up if you want to, if you reject just describe her as cocking her head to the side, smiling and saying "Your loss" with a sly smile after which she saunters off to her next class)
Vega slowly stars to see her tail go back to legs and stands when they are fully there. She looks around her and runs back to her class to grab her stuff.
"Sup." Baron says. "You know, usually, I wouldn't, but, maybe."
"Com'on then." She leads Baron to the back of the school and takes out a cig, and offers to him. "So when'd you get so powerful," She smirked, "don't be sly I can sense your powers just as well as you can sense anyone else's."
"Long story, it was fate, really. I was just on a stroll a couple weeks ago, and in the middle of helping some lady out of some predicament, I found this thing called "the Pamphlet", right. So, as I'm examining it, I find a bookmark with a blade attached. Little did I know that this blade drains a bit of your blood and uses it to write the name of the user, in this case, me, in it's index. From there on I was transformed at sundown."
Vega grabs her bag and walks outside in the courtyard, sitting at a picnic table.
Orion sighs and exits the bathroom, going off to do whatever it is that he does.
"Well damn," Zoey said looking interested,"That must have been a lot to process at the time. Want a cig?"
"I'm fine, thanks, though." He says. "And, it kind of was, but I got over it easy." He rubs his chin with the back of his hand. "Although, I'm not as powerful as usual." He finished. It was true, he was feeling about 10% today, and if she could sense his power, it meant that his psychoastral, physioastral, and cosmoastral auras were fluctuating randomly.
"Then how powerful are you usually?" She asked once again raising her brow and smirking.
"Well, it's hard to explain." He said.
"Try me." She countered
"For starters, even now, I'm faster than a bullet." He says, haughtily. He chuckles.
She smiles, his laugh is pretty cute. "Don't be sly, tell me everything." She took a step closer to him.
If you have a spare lighter, I could give you a demonstration, but we'll have to high-tail it out of here if I do.
"Ahahaha, sure." She tossed her lighter to him, which he caught with incredible speed.
"Thanks!" He said, he casually tossed her lighter a few meters up in the air, it hangs there for a sec. He focuses on it, and glares intensely at it, before resuming his calm, confident vibe again. It explodes in mid-air.
He takes Zoey by the waist, and flits off, sprinting and zigzagging through traffic, and jumping from roof to roof, the two of them moving faster than most human eyes can track, they're at a sleazy food joint a block away within seconds.
As he demonstrates, she can sense the lighter stopping in mid air, but doesn't let her gaze leave his face, she figured that there wouldn't be many times that he would let people see him drop his 'calm, confident vibe' smiling at herself once more, she looked up in time to see it explode.
Suddenly they were racing over roof tops and stopped at a food joint near by.
"ooh, good, I was craving falafel! She walked to the closest table and sat down in the plastic chair, scanning the menu.
"While we eat, tell me more about these powers wont you." She looks up at him and smiles.
He sits next to her, lounging, Jotasro Kujo (if you watch JJBA) style in his seat. He gazes at her, grey eyes a smokey color.
"What you saw there, was telecombustion, which is less of a power really, and more of a technique."
"Enlightening." She leaned towards him head on her hand, awaiting more information.
"Anyway," he said, I don't really get too tired anymore either, to be honest, and I recover better now, too. But besides that, there's the strength of being a superhuman too." He sighs, waiting for his food.
"So, super human speed, strength, you have incredibly sensitive senses and you have a technique to blowing things up. What more is there to know of Baron Conrad?" She took a sip of her milkshake.
"Well, besides all of that, we're known for being remarkably durable, I remember being able to free fall from an airplane once, but in this state, that'd probably kill me." He explains. "Besides, even if I do get injured, like I said, its temporary. A couple minutes and I'm good as new."
Orion walks outside the school and onto the grounds, crouching down near a wilting plant. Humming, he reaches a hand out towards it, and watches it desperately cling to him. Smiling, Orion coaxes it back to life, but stops it before it takes over the whole school grounds. The deed done, he wanders off somewhere else.
"Interesting, but the real question is, is there more to you than just powers? What are your hobbies? Talents? music you listen to? What defines you other than power?"
"Baron chuckled. "That's an interesting question, thanks for asking. Hobbies, eh," he paused, "really, I do a bit of everything, mostly I just work on my Harley, not that I need it, but it's tight, y'know. In fact, I think it's still in the parking-lot at school." He looked at his phone, they still had a few minutes til' the next period.
"A Harley, sweet! I have a Honda Gold Wing back at home, I don't really trust the people at are school with my baby." She finally ate the last bite of her food, "Wanna introduce me?"
