Headmaster Nightslayer was back, standing on the stage at the far end of the room with a microphone. "Welcome freshmen, to Emeron Academy. Now, we shall assign you a staff or alumni to guide you around the school and get you your schedule and dormitories. Freshmen have two-person dormitories while second years and up have group dormitories. Both dormitories are co-ed unless requested otherwise. Have a good time at Emeron Academy."

A woman with long silver hair in a messy bun a top her head, wearing a blue skin-tight superhero uniform approached Evie. "You're Evie right?" The woman said. "I'm Mystique, an alumna of Emeron Academy. And I'll be showing you and Alice around."

I use the perception abilities of the human brain to trick your brain and your body into thinking my illusions are real. And in that way, I can make you think you're fighting me when you really aren't. Very useful long range power, I'd say."
