The teacher gave Cicada a thumbs up and she grinned. She made her way back to Evie and sat down next to her, "First rule of school, have good relations with teachers so they can easily change your schedule."

Evie looked up at Cicada with her eyes wide. "You're…"
The girls' laughing instantly stopped.

Cicada grinned as her eyes darted to the other girls. They were ablaze, "Yep. Guess I have English next instead."

Evie smiled happily. There was nothing Jocelyn could do to ruin this. Except… everything. Oh, let me at those girls! Evie inhaled sharply.

Cicada snapped her fingers to get Evie's attention, "Remember, small bursts."

Evie's whole body was tight. As long as she didn't get upset or angry, this would work. Jocelyn surfaced, a terrifying smirk painted her face. Suddenly, just as soon as she had come, Jocelyn vanished, replaced by Evie. Her heart was pounding. "Did I do it?" she whispered.

Cicada nodded as she smiled softly, "Yeah you did."

Evie laughed happily. "I did it!" she squeaked excitedly, earning strange, judgemental looks from the other girls sitting in front of her. She quickly covered her mouth.

Cicada glared at the girls before rolling her eyes back to Evie smiling, "Yes you did!"

Evie's eyes were ecstatic. She barely heard the teacher begin class.

Cicada pointed to the teacher with a little flame finger as she turned to face him.

Evie turned as well and opened her notebook. Her body was tense with joy. She slowly relaxed, paying attention to her favorite and best subject.

"ja herr doktor." he shattered the slabs and popped his knuckles.

realizing that no one understood what he said he sighed "y-yes Alice you were hearing Lord of the Rings songs."

A slight smile appeared on her face. "I know, just checking, and we should probably be getting to class."

"what do you guys have?" he asked making the last of the unused obsidian dissipate.

Vincent checked his schedule, he had written it on his hand, "English, Dang it I'm late, don't worry the teacher loves me. " He sprinted down the hall and walked into class smiled sweetly at the teacher before sitting in a seat next to Cicada

Cicada smiled at Vincent, “Late as usual. Tsk tsk.”

Vincent winked, "Some one has to be that one kid that comes in late."

Evie looked over at Vincent, remembering him from the cafeteria. She'd also seen him in the hall… cleaning… her mess. Her gaze flitted back to her notes.
