“Ummm, is there something wrong?” Linx’s voice shook with nerves.

Cody grabbed the wheel and lifted. The ship shook a little then smoothed out as it took off.

They broke through the atmosphere and Cody let the ship steady itself. He flicked on the autopilot switched and swiveled his seat. "So, Where are you all from?"
Lynx shrugged. “Born and raised in New Orleans. Currently live in Seattle.”
