"Zackary. Aren't you tired? Don't you want to go up stairs and go to bed?" Afriel yawned. "Because I'd like to, And I know you're more tired then me."

Zackary crooned softly again, his wings stirring off of the ground. He wanted to go to bed. Sounded… enticing.

"Zackary," Afriel complained, "I don't want to fall asleep standing up."

Zackary made tiny noises of disgruntledness in his throat and buried his face into her neck, shaking his head.

Afriel made a tiny noise of anger while trying to wiggle away. "I want our nice soft-ish bed."

Zackary crooned softly, shaking his head more and scooting with her. He didn’t respond. Just crooned.

Afriel huffed out a small breath of anger before starting an awkward waddle to the stairs, with Zackary still holding onto her.

Zackary crooned louder, shaking his head. He didn’t want to move. He just wanted to be in bed.

Afriel sighed. "Zackary, please. Its not that far away, and besides there's no couch down here to crash on."

Zackary looked over his shoulder at the steps and crooned louder than before, burying his face into her neck.

"Zaaackary. Stop being so stubborn." Afriel wiggled around trying to pull free from his arms.

Zackary inhaled to croon loudly again, stepping with her. He just wanted to collapse on the floor and sleep, now.

"What in tarnations is going on down here?" Eden grumbed from the top of the stairs. Sounding as of she'd just woken up.

Zackary’s legs decided to buckle out at that moment and he collapsed into a pile of long limbs and shivering wings. The collapsing hurt, but sleep tugged at his eyelids.

Afriel made an 'oof' sound as she was dragged down with him. "Eeeden. Help me drag this idiot up stairs."

Zackary sighed into sleep and passed out immediately. He was somehow relaxed dead-weight on the floor, his head lolling.

With much trouble Afriel and Eden dragged Zackary up stairs and dropped into the bed. Afriel sighed and shook her head. "He's heavier then I thought."

Zackary just laid there, fast asleep. He was totally unaware of how much contact he was just enduring and was just sleeping away.

Afriel collapsed next to him and mumbled a 'thank you' to Eden before she left. It didn't take Afriel long to fall asleep, being pulled into a dark dreamless sleep.

Afriel woke up later then usually, and forced herself to sit up. "Zackary." She mumbled sleepily.

Zackary was resting his head on her tummy and was curled up in her warm wings. He was snoring softly, his mouth gaping open to show his sharp white teeth.

Afriel gave a small smile down at him, and let her hand rest of his head. Her fingers dancing in his hair. "Wakey wakey love."

Zackary blinked open his eyes slowly with a faint noise of confusion from his throat. He shifted a little, moving his head so he was more comfortable on her tummy.

Afriel kissed his forehead. "Come on." She mumbled even though she didn't want to get up yet.

Zackary inhaled softly from his mouth, and exhaled in a fain croon. He shook his head a little, shutting his eyes again.
