Have fun at the beach!
How The Tides Have Turned Against Us
Just saying, I'm going to VERY busy tomorrow so if we start tomorrow then I probably won't respond very much..
Alrighty, well, I just got back from the beach and my phone is nearly dead. I'll probably start it tomorrow, but don't worry—it'll be pretty slow-moving, at least until the others post their characters.
ok :)

Okay. :D
Sorry sorry I'm back! Give me a good few minutes and my character will be up
(laughing in hidden because I got too sidetracked by other things)(cough cough learning the bass for Jumpsuit by Twenty Øne Piløts cough cough) and didn't actually start this off. Er, tomorrow, for sure)
school
(haha oki! I understand)
(sorry I'm going to have to drop out of this, I've got too many rps)
school
(Aww that sucks but i understand)
@amber_ I'm sorry to hear you're dropping out. I hope your other rps go well! Maybe some other time :)
As for everyone else, sorry for going MIA. Something came up and I've been too busy to respond. I should be good now, but if anyone else wants to start it off, feel free. There's no specific way it needs to start, although for alatums, I picture them living in a place that's kinda like a combination of the Rito village from the Legend of Zelda and a forest-y, tall trees environment. The high up, wooden hut like constructions, if that makes sense.

school
(I don't know, I think one of us is gonna have to start it)
(Well we should probably wait for Anon anyway since it's their rp)
school
(Mm. I'm going to pm Anon, just to make sure cause that's how I understood their last message)
(Ehhhhhhhh😂)
Yeah, sorry guys—I've been unexpectedly swamped with back to school stuff, especially considering I'm a senior now
If I ever don't respond to something, just like,,, feel free to kick me out, even if it's my own rp
One of you can start it, or I'll get around to it eventually, but eventually could be tonight or next year depending on whether or not I get any inspiration
I'm really sorry that I'm like this
(It’s all good)

Oof I totally understand Anon! High school is probably rough, especially back to school, but I can't relate (sorry) cause I'm only in junior high. But yeah, once I get into high school I'll probably find that I can't just do all my projects and homework at school whenever I can :( so yeah I'll probably have less free time. But take your time!
Alrighty, finally, inspiration struck, lol. Of course, I've needed to look over everyone's characters again because I've forgotten practically everything since starting this, but here we go!
The wind tugged mercilessly on every scrap of fabric fastened to the flimsy skeletons of the makeshift village. A shout in the distance indicated someone's roof was blown away, but Av couldn't bring himself to care. He was busy swinging his legs over the banister that overlooked the forest below. It was a steep drop, but that didn't bother him. Even as the first few drops of icy rain began to fall, landing in the grooves between his feathers and slipping down the oil-covered surfaces, it didn't bother him. His wings may not be entirely waterproof, but they would catch him if he slipped. He wouldn't fall. The sun—still hidden behind dark clouds—was beginning to sink into the horizon, something Av knew instinctively. Even with the dimming light from the storm, a sixth sense, something animalistic, seemed to scream at him, Hunting time! Hunting time! As usual, however, he ignored the voice. Instead, he turned as his sharp ears picked up on the sound of wings brushing the wodden planks of the deck. He raised an eyebrow, surprised he hadn't noticed the newcomer sooner, and fixed the barrels near her with a stern look. "What're you doing?" he asked suspiciously, a hint of humor in his voice as he refused to make eye contact with the other alatum. She appeared to be close to his age, he observed.

Dagan let out a sharp huff as he leaned against the closest convinient surface, in this case, the front of the McDonalds he happened to be waiting at. He tapped his foot restlessly and glanced at his watch, before checking his phone for any new messages. Unless he was mistaken—a notion with an infinitesimle probability, for sure—a local group of alatum activists was supposed to be meeting him at this very McDonald's. Dagan was appalled by the fact that he was the only one who'd arrived early, but that, he supposed, was the price for working with the ameteurs he mentally pegged the group to be. He wouldn't have even bothered coming in the first place if the meeting hadn't sparked his interest as a potential cover. Safety in numbers and all that jazz, he supposed. Just as he was debating migrating inside—the soft rain was beginning to soak through his jacket and make him uncomfortable—the figure of a person exiting their car caught his attention. Considering it was approaching rush hour at the fast food joint, Dagan knew not to get his hopes up, but he studied the person as they walked up to him, regardless.

Flying with her hawk, Gracie had been circling around the city for awhile, looking for something to do. She had spied what she hoped was another alatum sitting on the banister of an apartment (?). Swooping down, she landed lightly on the deck, her long wings, brushing the deck lightly. "What're you doing?" the other asked abruptly. Startled, Gracie looked up, her eyes wide. Her hawk had landed on her shoulder and was looking curiously at the other. Stumbling over her words, she chirped, "Safety in flocks! What is you doing?"
Martin drove up to the spot he was told the group would be meeting. He saw the giant yellow M of McDonalds before anything else and went and parked his car. As he left his car he saw a tall man, probably in his 20's leaning against the wall. Martin walked over, his dog following closely beside stopped in front of the man and greeted him. "Hi, are you part of the meeting?" He asked leaving the specifics of what kind of meeting just in case this was just some random guy.
